Hotel Riu Latino - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Resort, Friendly Staff & Great Food! We had a great experience at RIU Latino! The customer service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Important transportation tip: Make sure you book your transportation through Expedia before arriving at the airport. Uber cannot pick you up from the Cancún airport. they can only drop you off there. If you don’t arrange transportation ahead of time, a taxi or private transportation can cost around $150–$180 USD to get to the resort. RIU Latino is approximately 40 minutes from the airport. Also, keep in mind that RIU does not provide airport transportation if you didn’t book directly through them. The food was delicious! There were plenty of fish and seafood options, which was perfect for me as a pescatarian. We enjoyed all of the restaurants we tried. One thing to know is that there is no room service, so definitely make sure you eat before the restaurants close! Costa Mujeres Mexico is extremely hot and because the sun beams directly onto the pools throughout the day the pool water can get very warm. The ocean water, however was nice and cool. Definitely try one of the resort’s water slides! They drop you into a pool that’s approximately 3–4 feet deep, and there is a lifeguard waiting at the end. The Sunday pool party was a great time! We also attended the Pink Pool Party at RIU Cancún get VIP if your planning to attend!"

"Our stay was amazing we had a great time and would come back!! Every restaurant was great staff was very helpful. Wish the hot tubs were hot was the only complaint I would have. Mr Roger with the pool entertainment was awesome!"

"⭐️ Great Stay at Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres! We had a wonderful stay at Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres. The resort was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and having our own private plunge pool was definitely one of our favorite features. The staff was amazing! Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. They truly made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The food was good, with plenty of options and restaurants to choose from. The pools and resort grounds were also beautiful and relaxing. The beach was nice. There was some seaweed, but definitely less than we’ve experienced in other locations, and the staff worked very hard to keep it clean. We really appreciated the effort they put into maintaining the beach. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres and come back again!"

"Pros: Very friendly staff - restaurant had great servers - Albert, Hugo, Lizbeth, Victor and Jorge. Friendly, helpful and prompt. Food and drink at this resort was good and fast. The massage therapists Nelly and Tere were incredible - a must-do during your visit. And Matteo was very accommodating and helpful with hotel and general island info. The main pool was relaxing, enough chairs for all guests. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis were my husband’s favorite feature, with incredible views. Rooms and common areas were clean. We felt safe here and on the island, in general. We had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Cons: the resort is nice but is due for some upkeep/refresh/maintenance. The beach (while the ocean/water is beautiful and clean!) was less than desirable - not much space or water to enjoy, and the cabanas were dirty every day - I did not use them once! The resort is next-door to a popular bar, which has boats coming and going constantly, so swimming past the (manmade) sand barges was not safe. Pool and jacuzzis were dirty most days and need a good scrub. One note: there is only one restaurant at this quaint resort, though it has a full menu with many options for food and drink. It opens for lunch and dinner; the Snack Bar is your option for lunch, with a limited menu. Our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 young adult children and one teenager) had a lovely visit and greatly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for the great service and memories!"
