“This property gives you the ability to disconnect from city life. The staff is amazing and very attentive. Please note that this bungalow hotel is an hour and thirty minutes away from Central Cartagena. The hotel provides transportation if you are looking to do activities away from the hotel premises and they are very punctual with pickup and providing you a safe ride back to the hotel.”

“The staff at the property was very attentive. Beautiful location. Property was a little run down and equipment such as pool noodles and life jackets need replacing and/or cleaning. Very little water for showering and no hot water. ”

“We recently stayed at this hotel. I have to say I was a little worried about the rating but now having stayed there I can honestly say it was wonderful. The staff is so nice! They go out of their way to be accommodating. The manager Tanya went around to each table to make sure eveyone was having a good time. We asked a few questions regarding the water situation. Many people commented that they should have water for guests. Well, Tanya explained this to us. Drinking water is liquid gold……

“Casa Cordoba Baru is a lovely place to visit for a quiet, relaxing break from everyday life. While the rooms are comfortable and clean, don’t go expecting luxury. This is a place to get away from it all. If you don’t enjoy just taking it easy and lounging, it may not be for you. The amenities at the resort are simple and there isn’t any place to go on Baru proper. But if you’re looking for ease and relaxation, I highly recommend it. My girlfriend and I would definitely visit again.”

“I loved the place. There weren't many people so I had the island for myself pretty much! Loved it... The beds are HARD, but I slept well on them. BRING REPELENTS! jejenes will sting you bad and ruined your trip! They should proactively warn about this.”

“This is a special place surrounded by natural beauty. Location is amazing with the ocean on both sides of this small hotel. It offers many water activities including scuba, snorkel, swim and Kyack. The ocean is warm and turquoise color. It is quiet and hotel doesn’t take a big group of day trippers. The food is home cooked island meals and very good. The staff is helpful and Victor went out of his way to do something for us. The rooms are basic and bed is comfortable. It’s a small hotel and……
