Yum Balam buidling is located in Punta Cocos, the most quiet part of the island. Our location is perfect to enjoy the magic of the island in a more peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and tourism at the island center.

You will enjoy an almost private amazing turquoise shallow water beach which is just steps away from the apartment.

Starlink wifi up to 50 megas, connectivity won´t be an issue here!
The space
Loft with a king size bed, sofa bed for 1 adult or 2 kids, smart tv, bathroom and closet area. Fully equipped kitchen for you to cook your own meals if you feel like enjoying the property and staying in.

Ideal for a relaxing vacation and for guests who want to connect with nature, enjoy the sounds of birds and contemplate beautiful sunsets. The perfect setting for an amazing getaway.

We are meters away from the main touristic spot to watch bioluminescence this magical phenomenom at night, but you can aslo watch it from the beach in front of us, specially during new moon.

We have a twin loft available if you are a bigger group of friends or family.

Guest access
You will have access to the common shared areas which are the pool and ground floor lounge areas.

Pool hours: 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
Other things to note
*We include welcome amenities: toiler paper, shampoo, dish soap, drinking water, etc. Once guests run out of these, they should restock their own.

* We want to make sure you have a good rest so that´s why we have quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am. We ask all our guests to respect this rule as Yum Balam aims to be felt like a retreat vacation.

* Our concierge team is always available to help you schedule private transportation from and to the airport, tours, massages, utv, golfcart or bike rental, etc.

* We incude 20L water gallon as a courtesy, however if you need more we have 20L gallons for sale for $100 mxn.

*We do not include daily cleaning service, however, this service is available upon request with extra cost.

* In long term rentals, we do not include electricity consumption.

*This loft includes one bicycle and it’s lock. It’s free of use, however, in case of using it we would charge a $200 mxn fee at checkout to wash it and leave it clean for next guests.

* We fummigate monthly but please understand we are located amongst nature so mosquitoes, ants and some other insects are common.
