First trip to Holbox. The hotel was nice, our room was ready upon arrival. We were given RM 51 which was an upgrade which included a private plunge pool. Also, for being an Expedia member we received a bottle of Champagne. The property is pretty, the decorations are also nice. The plunge pool was nice to have and they cleaned it daily for us. The room had a great AC and the bathroom had plenty of hot water and water pressure was great. That’s not always a given on an island. We did the all inclusive, not the upgraded one. The mixed drinks were always really good and we had several, we didn’t even notice the well liqueur they were so good. The waiters and bartenders were great. We even had great service at the beach. You can order off the snack menu at the beach. The steak and chicken they use for the fajitas and nachos is so tender and flavorful. The Ceviche was fresh and really good as well. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and we chose to eat out for dinner. The neighboring restaurant Parador 33 was delicious. Best meal of the trip. It’s an Argentine Steak and seafood place. The Octopus Carpaccio was to die for and so was the steak. The staff were super friendly. The taco stands in town are also fabulous. It was a great trip. I only took off 1 star because the shower and sink had some draining issues, but it wasn’t that big of a deal for us. We also had massages by Alma in the sister hotel. It was fabulous, and the price was fantastic.

Such a beautiful spot for a reasonable price right on the beach! My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and we have no regrets! We partially loved the beach side drink and snack service included in the all inclusive package we got! Thought we’d get tired of mojitos but they were just so good! The food was excellent as well! Each day has a theme for the week we were there and all of them were very good! Our favorite was the BBQ and Mexican themes! The only thing we were disappointed with was the shower, the water pressure was sometimes non-existent and it took about 5 minutes to heat up which was kinda annoying… Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back again!

El hotel está increíble, la alberca de súper buen tamaño, las habitaciones muy amplias, muy cuidadas, tienen un frente de playa muy amplio con muchos camastros, esa zona de la playa está súper bonita, lo suficientemente alejado del pueblo para no tener ruido pero muy cerquita que te vas caminando. Es sin duda nuestro hotel favorito.

La verdad no fue nada buena la estancia. En la isla por lo que nos comentaron, días anteriores habían tenido un problema con las tuberías y el agua estaba escasa por lo que tuvieron que tomar medidas, donde incluso vaciaron una de las albercas, al ingreso nos dijeron se resolvería en las próximas 24 horas, lo que jamás pasó y nos recortaban el agua, solo nos la ponían en ciertos horarios (7-10 y de 18-21 h) y se entiende perfectamente el problema, lo que no entendimos es que a pesar de estos recortes donde no podíamos ni siquiera ir al baño o si ibas se quedaba sucio, fue que se pusieron a LLENAR NUEVAMENTE LA ALBERCA VACÍA, gastando litros y litros de agua, sin embargo a los huéspedes puntualmente nos recortaban el agua todos los días de estancia que en mi caso fueron 3, en el pueblo nos comentaron que sí habían tenido tema con el agua pero que ya estaba restablecido el problema y que ellos no tenían ese problema de agua ah y la presión del agua al menos de mí habitación en la regadera era muy deficiente, tardabas mucho en poderte bañar.

Be very careful with Expedia. They do false advertising. Read your receipt, word by word before making your reservation or you will be surprised once at the property with surprise fees like ours, $347.00 additional fees that Expedia refuses to refund. They advertise that the property considers all kids “adults”, but suddenly at the property their age matters and they charge you extra. I’m still waiting on Expedia. I have a recording of the manager pretty much admitting it is their mistake, but I should have also checked with the facility directly. For the price; I’ve stayed at way better places. Room was infested with ants, all over, including the bed. When I reported it to the staff, I got a bottle of Raid. We were given another room for the night, which smelled terrible, AC did not work, and pillow shams smelled like someone had slept there and the sheets were not changed. We paid extra for a private pool that was never serviced. The water was so unsanitary appearing, I didn’t let my kids swim in it much. Sheets were never changed, even when requested. You get charged a $20 for each pool towel. The only decent thing was breakfast. But even during our stay they decided to have some repairs, which gave off a terrible smell all the way to the pool.

We enjoyed this quiet small property. Appreciate the staff. Although it was quit confusing after making reservations through Expedia I then received an email from Villas HM Palapas indicating if I didn't pick a room number we could lose our reservations, yet when I went to choose the room I only had one choice. Then a few days later I was told we had to pay an additional fee for the room we requested! WHAT!? Don't fall for this. You do not need to pick your room of choice. All the rooms I'm sure are lovely but I felt this was the resorts way of making more money off us. So once we arrived we not only had to pay for our room we reserved but the additional taxes. For this i was disappointed.

El hotel me gustó mucho, tiene piscinas privadas en algunas habitaciones y son de altura perfecta para disfrutar, la habitación muy cómoda y limpia. Algo que tengo que destacar es el servicio de todo incluido, la comida está muy rica con ingredientes de calidad, al igual que las bebidas. Cuenta con diferentes áreas de descanso, con playa con suficientes camastros. La playa es muy tranquila y puedes ver lindos atardeceres. Me pareció que tiene una buena ubicación que te permite ir caminando al centro de la isla. Para terminar el servicio de masaje con la Srita. Liliana estuvo increíble, 100 % recomendable.

Todo excelente lo único es que su “todo incluido” no es todo incluido, está muy limitado a pocas cosas ya que hay en el hotel un paquete que le llaman premium y ese si incluye todo como debería ser, de ahí en más lo pasamos increíble. El personal es de la mejor calidad y amabilidad.
