Food was average. Rooms were missing essential items like an ice bucket. Used items weren’t replaced each day ie: coffee supplies and hand towels. Adults only area was lacking in shade/umbrellas. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel overall ~ Full sun most of the day, very few umbrellas, even fewer tables between the chairs ~ most guests had to continously hold their drinks, set them down on the concrete, in the pool, or on the sand!!! Just silly when small tables are so inexpensive ~ at bare minimum find a way to add cupholders to the chairs...

We stayed from March 25 to April 1st. The Service staff were outstanding. After arriving we became aware that the ownership of the hotel had changed. There was no communication about the change, and our package went from being all inclusive with the ability to order from the menu whenever we wanted, to not being able to get anything aside from the buffet for each meal. We were extremely disappointed with how the change over happened and the lack of communication around it. The expectations that the service staff had gone through with us upon arrival were just no longer available, and we had no choice but to dine elsewhere any time that we wanted a la carte food. In addition to this, there was a corporate team on site for the last few days and their presence was not welcoming or friendly in the least. We tried to address the situation that we were in with our package expectations many times, and were not provided any solutions at all that would have made it better. Prior to arriving we had also contacted the hotel to see if there was an opportunity to upgrade our room. Through email, we were given a rate for an upgrade, but when we tried to accept it and proceed to payment, the response was to show up and we would be taken care of. I tried calling instead to have the upgrade processed and was told that it was not an option. Along with that all systems were down, including wi-fi and communication to the front desk. The location is beautiful, the service staff were outstanding.

I didn't book the all inclusive pkg, but 1 day was raining so I tried to just pay as I went but talked into pre authorizing 4000 pesos, I had the breakfast buffet and later tried to get a couple of drinks from the pool bar, was told no, went to the front desk, she called and said I'm good to go. I went back to the pool bar and was denied again, then I settled/cancelled my pre auth, paid for the breakfast(475 pesos and not worth it no fruit at the buffet) I was embarrassed and annoyed and left, glad the rain stopped and I could venture out as Isla is know for many great eateries. Room was good, was clear and the WiFi was only 4hrs per day too. Couldn't imaging if I kids with me at this resort.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is outstanding. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. The food was just okay, but had enough options so that you could always find something you liked. This is not a party hotel and there is no music blaring at the pool. You can relax, read and really enjoy yourself. The pool is large but sometimes there are a lot of kids in the pool. You are able to go to the adult pool on the roof to find some quiet. We like the more remote location and rent golf cart to get around.

We are really disappointed! We got our room and had really strong smell of vinegar in the bathroom and floor cleaner in the room. We called the front desk and we were told that they will move us to a new room. We kept asking the front desk about the new room and they told us that it was going to be a just a few minutes and they were going to call us. After 2 hrs of the same story we went downstairs to the front desk and they finally gave us the key to the new room. When we got to the new room it smelled like wet rag. One of the chairs was soaking wet. We got a two queen side beds instead of the kings size we reserved. There was only 1 restaurant in the property and doesn’t have much options on the menu, the taste was not the greatest and was expensive. We enjoyed the pool and the beach in front of the hotel.

The room was clean and spacious, but the hotel is not the greatest. Small selection of food, no amenities, some servers were very nice, others seemed like they did not care. The beach is very small, the water is full of seaweed and not swimmable.

The best thing is the staff, they were all amazing. Carlos was very fun, super attentive and helped me practice my Spanish. Dario at the front lobby was fun, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was mediocre. The first two days it was al la carte which was a bit better. The buffet was okay, they did have a station to have ano lette made fresh. We had dinner one night which was not great and overpriced. The hotel next door has a much better restaurant for the same price or cheaper.
