The West Yellowstone area offers fun for the whole family including Yellowstone Historic Center, antique shops, the Grizzly Discovery Center, the Imax Theater featuring daily showings. Available during the summer months, the Museum of the Yellowstone and the famous Playmill Theater offer fun-filled recreation for kids as well as adults.

Whether you choose to go on a snowcoach tour or take a guided snowmobile trip, you will love Island Park and Yellowstone in winter! (Available from mid-December to the first part of March.) Cross country skiing can be enjoyed on the Rendezvous Ski Trails in West Yellowstone, offering over 35 kilometers of winding groomed trails that meander through the pristine Gallatin National Forest. Fifty miles north to Big Sky, MT, the best of Rocky Mountain downhill skiing is offered at two different resorts: Big Sky, and Moonlight Basin.
