“The gite was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Jacques SORBIER and his wife, the hosts, were very hospitable and greeted us on our arrival. We managed to communicate via email, despite our basic level of French. The gite is in a lovely rural location with far reaching views of the countryside, but is well located to explore the surrounding villages of the Dordogne. The picturesque village of Saint Alvere is only 5 mins drive and the larger town of Bugue, with a supermarket, is only 15……

“We hebben twee geweldige weken doorgebracht in dit fijne en bijzondere huis. Bruno is erg aardig en was altijd bereid een vraag te beantwoorden of een tip te geven. De locatie is perfect als uitvalsbasis voor veel verschillende soorten uitstapjes. En als het erg warm was, was er een airco en een zwembad! De oprijlaan is steil, gelukkig is er iets verderop nog een minder steile opgang. ”

There are fantastic places to visit in the area, caves, pretty villages, chateau, the river, many places to cover all interests and never more than an hours drive at worst.
