A wonderful stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was perfect. It was very clean, was exactly like the pictures and super comfortable. The balcony was perfection and we could sit in both good and rainy weather enjoying the fabulous views. The building was very quiet and we never heard noises from neighbors around or upstairs. Parking was easy. The location is nice, near the end of the island and the golf course. The pool was beautiful and big. We all want to stay in this condo every time we return.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The first week was spent in being very upset so I did not enjoy that week.The deck furniture was rusted and broken. The back legs were broken off on one and both chairs were totally rusted and should have been tossed long ago. The Master King bed had the lining to he box springs on the floor under the bed and upon my inspection one of the box springs wood boards were broken in two. The carpets were extremely dirty and worn out and buckling everywhere. They need to be trashed. The rug in family room needs replaced. The brown “leather” sofa was faded to green and yellow and when I sat in it I slid to the floor. The two “dining room” chairs in the Family room were ripped where the back meets the front. The twin bedroom had a hole in the wall where the door had been pushed too hard and the doorknob left a hole in the drywall. This unit is not up to the standards of Ocean Club units. We have been renting in Ocean Club every year for 30 years. I spoke to the property manager and told her all of this.. It took 11 days to get deck furniture and then there were no cushions for them. The existing cushions were flat and needed replaced. I sent pictures of everything to the Property Manager. We paid a lot of money for this unit for the entire month of May. I feel I was overcharged for the shape it was in and the property should have been inspected and fixed before our arrival. These are major issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful condo in Wild Dunes but was not the ideal start to our vacation. When we checked in there were no bath towels, dish towels, or toilet paper. We had to make an immediate run to the store that evening just to get toilet paper and paper towels. The condo was well supplied with dishes and glassware but only had one usable frying pan. There was also quite a bit of mold above the jacuzzi and an unusable stopped up sink in the master bathroom. I called to bring all this to the attention of Island Realty. They really did a great job of taking care of all of the issues. Towels were immediately delivered and the property manager, Whitney, personally delivered new stainless steel pots and pans to replace what was in the condo. She also had maintenance come out and take care of the stopped up sink and mold in the master bathroom. We are so thankful that Whitney and Jenny of Island Realty did such a great job getting the problem issues taken care of immediately and we subsequently enjoyed our vacation. I don't like to call and complain about anything but Island Realty needed to know the issues that we had so they can be aware of problems with housekeeping.
