This hotel is in an excellent location for touring Istanbul. The ammenities are basic, the rooms are clean and there is a swimming pool indoors. The lighting is poor and the lobby/bar are dismal, but the daily breakfast is excellent.

The hotel is very poor and very old in everything, furniture, aircondition, no blackout only two stripes of curtains at both sides, you can feel wing from windows, the nightstands each lamp has a different light color, other light is turned off, rooms are very very small , also very lousy especially the connected rooms as you are with the other people at the same room , and all this I was in the new building so what's about the old one ???!!! breakfast should finishes at 10.00 but if you go at 9.15 you will find nothing to eat also no varieties to find if you go earlier, reception staff are very aggressive and not flexible at all and this if you even find them on the counter they are always staying in a room back according to freezing so the lobby is not heated guests too cannot even stay and you feel you are in a desert

Sehr zentrale Lage - Gutes Frühstück

Ich übernachte immer wieder im Marble-Hotel weil es einfach gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist und zentral liegt. Natürlich gibt es Renovierungsbedarf speziell bei den Bädern, aber das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Sehr schön sind die Zimmer mit Bosporus-Blick. Derzeit viele Touristen aus dem Nahen und mittleren Osten die das Hotel wohl auch wegen dem Preis schätzen. Das Personal ist insgesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

日本人には確実におすすめしません。とういうかできません。

不夜城と名高い新宿や渋谷を彷彿とさせるような新市街のエリアからすごく近く、トラムからもさほど離れていないので、アクセスは夜遊び・買い物にはうってつけです。 ですが、上記の点はここらのホテルならみんな同じです。 このホテルだけの魅力についていえば・・・ありません。大人数の下手なドミトリーよりはギリギリましですが、二度と泊まりたいとは思いません。これなら四人部屋くらいのドミトリーならそっちがマシだったと思います。 部屋も最低限という程度でいろいろ汚いし設備もひどい。おまけにWi－Fiが出かける前や帰ってきてからとういう肝心な時間帯に使えない。真昼にでも帰ってこないと繋がらない。 5000円ぽっちですから過度な期待をしてしまうのが間違いとはいえ、部屋やホテルは値段と比べてちょっと損な感じ程度で済みますが、なによりスタッフの応対がひどいです。 あくまで個人的な話ですが、朝食に行ったところ客もまばらで四人掛テーブルに二人分の支度がされている席があったのでそこでいいかと本と上着をかけて食事をとりに向かいました。スタッフが一人分の食器を下げているのを見て、適当に食事をよそって席に戻ると、なんと他の家族連れが座っていました。その家族自体が全く人の上着も本も意に介さない様子で座り、おまけにスタッフはさっき下げた食器を今度は三人分用意している有様。そこは止めろよと思いましたが、止めないということはそういうレベルのスタッフと思いそのまま皿を置いて外で朝食は済ましました。四人くらいもスタッフが突っ立っていておいてそれはないだろうと思いましたが、本と上着を回収しに近づいても家族連れは何も気にしてないようなのが衝撃でした。他にもスタッフの癪に障る対応は多々ありますが態々は書きませんがいろいろとひどいです。

It was pleasure to stay at such a well located hotel, and unfortunately that's all good image I have. Room was quite neat, and comfortable sized though, too old and I could barely sleep due to noize from neighborhoods. Taksim squre is really close to this hotel, that's great point.

Nur eingeschräkt empfehlenswert

Der Aufenthalt im Marble hat positive wie negative Punkte. Zuerst die Minuspunkte: Ich habe ein Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht. Beim ersten Betreten fiel auf, dass es nach Rauch riecht. Das lag vermutlich an der Terasse direkt unterhalt des Fensters - der Rauch zieht direkt von dort ins Zimmer. Das Bett ist sehr schmal und die Matratze nicht besonders bequem. Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlich und hilfsbbereit, aber nicht alle können gut Englisch. Positiv: Die Lage direkt am Taksim Platz ist natürlich top. Ins Istanbul Congress Center kann man in 10-15 Min. laufen. Man findet auch leicht ein Taxi. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lecker, wer ein türkisches Frühstück mit vielen Käsesorten genießen mag, wird nicht enttäuscht.

Altes, verwohntes, unsauberes Hotel

Wir sind nicht empfindlich, aber dieses Hotel hat total enttäuscht. Unsere Anreise erfolgte spät abends und wir wurden in unser Zimmer gebracht. Dieses Zimmer war so klein, dass noch nicht einmal richtig Platz war, für die Koffer abzustellen. Das Doppelbett war lediglich ein 1,40 m Bett. Das gesamte Mobiliar war total alt, kaputt. Die Wände waren schmutzig, die Leisten am Boden alle locker. Das Badezimmer war schmutzig, insbesondere die Badewanne mit Duschwand. Die Rillen an der Badewanne und um die gesamte Badewanne herum war alles voller Schimmel und Dreck. Beim ersten Duschen brach die Halterung für den Duschkopf ab. Das Zimmer (Zimmer 509) lag vorne zur Straße hin. Ein Schlafen war kaum möglich, da die ganze Nacht Autos vorbeifahren und in Istanbul mit Vorliebe gehupt wird, sobald jemand nicht schnell genug weiterfährt. Wir haben uns am nächsten Morgen an der Rezeption beschwert und man hat uns ein anderes Zimmer gegeben (Zimmer 302). Das lag zur Rückseite des Hotels, war also wesentlich ruhiger und hatte einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Bosporus. Hier war das gesamte Zimmer auch viel größer und das Bett hatte eine normale Doppelbettgröße. Aber auch hier war das gesamte Mobiliar genauso alt und verschlissen. Das Badezimmer hatte die gleichen Probeme. Die Toilettenbrille war aus der Verankerung gerissen. Auch hier waren die ganzen Fugen schmutzig und voller Schimmel. In der ganzen Woche ist in diesem Zimmer nicht einmal geputzt worden. Das Frühstück war okay.

Marble Hotel really by Taksim Square,

Good part is the hotel is right by the Taksim Square and we find it very safe to walk around. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel room is small and need need reno. Hotel front desk is not friendly, the female front desk is doing her minimum. We asked for the directions to the Hard Rock Cafe which h is a few blocks away, and all she said was no idea and back to her bookkeeping And has no interest to find the info for us. We actually walked to a neighbor hotel, the front desk used his phone to help us step by step on how to get there (that is what we call customer service). Breakfast is sufficient, almost all the hotels offer similar selections, and again no service at all. The staffs look tired and not want to be there. The male staff is actually sitting by a empty table who more looks like a prizon guard to watch the guests eating. Had said, it is a budget hotel at a very good location. If you don't want to pay more and don't care about service or comfort, a good choice. We only used the room for sleeping and out for the entire day.
