Location fantastic for main tourist attractions. Overall good value for money. Lots of local eating places within walking distance. Hotel staff friendly, room adequate and very clean with comfortable bed. Breakfast adequate so value for money. However, room 503 had an issue with hot water in the shower, in the mornings when complained was informed it was a technical issue so had to wait over an hour to have a shower in the mornings.

Experience authentique dans un petit hôtel

Bravo à toute l'équipe pour son accueil souriant et son souci de satisfaire le client. La salle de bain est impeccable, la literie aussi et le calme est total. Une mention spéciale pour la terrasse où est servi le petit-déjeuner. Un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

The service was good, everyone had been friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large enough for three people. The most interesting thing is the area where the hotel is located. It is a mix between touristic (as it is preety close to the main attractions) and local life. Not so close to the nearest metro station.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Just as the name states it's located in the old city and within walking distance to everything (shopping centers, restaurants, tramway, etc.). Our room and bathroom were small but the service was excellent. The hotel is not fancy or grand, but it's a good quality/price for the location. Also, the manager Ömer made up for anything the hotel could lack. I often travel and his client service skills are really beyond anything I've seen before; he's usually not there at nights but he stayed back the night before our checkout to say goodbye to us. Breakfast was included in our stay, there weren't many options but the kitchen staff prepared whatever local dish we order in the morning, portions were enough and the food was good too. Know before you go: Bring your own toileteries and towel (I didn't like what was provided but I'm a very picky person); don't hesitate to ask for additional blankets (the one in our room was thin and I'm often chilly) or anything you need the staff is very helpful. Also, the hotel offers tours through different agencies, we did the "luxury dinner on the boat tour" for $50 but it had nothing luxurious and the food was cold and bland; the other tour we went on was very interesting it was €90 ($104 usd) and included visits to the most famous touristic attractions in instanbul, with 3 hours boat ride on the bosphorus and a delicious lunch on the boat (this one was sooo worth it). Overall, I liked my stay there!

The location and terrace of the hotel were great BUT there are some areas in which it needs to improve. 1. Service: The front desk was always very nice. However, we asked for the room to be cleaned two days in a row and nothing happened. Moreover, the service at breakfast was unfriendly on some of the days, which is why we felt quite unwelcome. Service seamed to be annoyed about the fact that we wanted to have breakfast at 10 AM even though it is available until 11 AM. 2. Cleanliness of the room: When we arrived to the Hotel, there was still some hair in the shower walls and the overall cleanliness was just OK. 3. Shower: When we tried to shower in the morning at 7 AM, but there was no running water at first. After a while there was some water coming out of the shower head but it smelled like it was coming right out of the sewer.

Sejour en famille agreable dans cet hotel familial. Lhotel est bien situe avec vue sur la mosquee bleue et la mer marmara. Acces presque immediat a la station kumkapi et ensuite desserte sur tout istanbul. Merci a Omer pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Un grand clin d'œil a Merdja pour son sourire et sa bonne humeur au petit déjeuner, qui a rendu linstant encore plus agréable.

Alles war super. Das Personal i das Frühstück sehr nice 👍. Wir hatten zwei normale Zimmer, da wir mit Kind waren haben sie von sich aus ein upgrade auf Familie Zimmer gleich gemacht. Der Grand Baazar ist 900m vom Hotel entfernt.
