Comfortable property in a great location.

The apartment is centrally located making it easy to access different parts of the city. The management was superb and very helpful. We really enjoyed the rooftop views for sunset. We would stay again!

Seeing the sights

Perfect location! Could not have asked for better hosts, the property is well appointed and the owner meet us there to answer any questions. We were also able to schedule airport transfers through them, which proved to be a life savers. The location is close to the tram which made getting to and from the sights super easy and saved a ton of time. We look forward to booking with them again

My family and I were very comfortable during our stay.

This was a great location for our first time in Istanbul. There are a lot of restaurants, cafe’s, and shops right outside the apartment, everything was very walkable for us and Julia provided a wonderful list of nearby recommendations that was very helpful! The apartment was nice and spacious for us. My family and I were very comfortable during our stay. Another great plus, was the ease of arranging transportation to and from the airport. Everything went really smooth!

Great central location with all the necessary amenities

Our stay at Petraki 3 was wonderful, starting with Taşkın greeting us at the apartment, thru our whole stay. Very responsive and answered our questions on places to go that were more local. Amazing location!

Overall very good stay for our family in Istanbul. The property is located right by the Galata tower with plenty local shopping and dining options. You can walk or take nearby tram many main attractions in Istanbul. Host was very prompt in commutations. The apartment has all the amenities for living. The apartment is old but well renovated with nice hamaam style touches. There may be three reason this place might not be for you: 1. The apartment and neighborhood is very old without accessibility features. The area is very hilly as well with old cobble street pavements. If you need accessibility you may want to look elsewhere. 2. The building is old and does not provide adequate noise suppression. You can hear people in the street talking from the bedroom. This is a very live area of city, however, noise mostly dies down after 11pm. If you are sensitive to noise you may want to look elsewhere. 3. The area is nice, very lively, but is part of old Istanbul. If you are looking for luxury you may want to consider elsewhere.

The roof terrace offers spectacular views of Istanbul.

Lovely place in a great area of Istanbul. Spacious enough for 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The roof terrace offers spectacular views of Istanbul. The place is perfectly located to explore the city with metro and tramways stops nearby. Julia was very quick to respond to any of our inquiries before our trip and Julieta was a great help during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

A wonderful stay

This is a really charming property, full of character in a brilliant location. Very easy to visit all the sites either by walking or on public transport. There are loads of cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. There’s an excellent artisan bakery just a few steps away which sells the most delicious pistachio bread - a must! The views from the terrace are absolutely stunning. It is a lively area but this just adds to its charm. I would recommend taking advantage of the taxi service from the airport. Tarkan was at the apartment to welcome us and was really very helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend a visit.

Amazing location & rooftop view

Pros: -Steps from Galata tower -Walkable to great restaurants, cafes and shopping -Plenty of well-equipped space, high ceilings and large Turkish-style marble bathroom -Beautiful panoramic view of the city from the rooftop -Great communication and assistance from Team Istanbul Cons: -Common space in building not well maintained or clean, especially the rooftop and outdoor furniture on the rooftop -Air conditioning units in bedrooms only, not central -No clothes dryer Overall the location and space make it a good value for families and groups. Would certainly return.

Wow!

Wow, every time I stepped out of the apartment, I saw the crowds lining up to visit Galata Tower and thought how lucky I was that they all traveled here to see it and I was staying right underneath! The location is so perfect. It can be challenging to access because of the hills and cobblestones but that is the whole neighborhood. We were right in the heart of the action - call to prayer at dawn every morning and throughout the day, amazing restaurants and shops around every corner, and a lovely, air-conditioned, spacious flat to come back to when we needed a break from it all. The hosts were so responsive and helpful - including when we had a minor situation and they came over to help right away! Very grateful for their attention and care.

Just next to Galata tower

Just next to Galata tower, you step outside the stairs and there you have Galata. Spacious 3 BHK apartment with nicely done modern kitchen, 2 bed rooms are good size, middle one is slightly small but with queen bed,.\ 2 full bathrooms, one includes hammam as well. Apartment is well maintained and almost all basic requirements are provided. Access to terrace on 6th floor is icing on the cake, its very idle for good photo shoots of Galata tower in background and also of the scenic Istanbul, Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque, and other attractions and sea coast. Good restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops are nearby. Superb hosts, very responsive. Proactively provided recommendations, dos and dont's which are very helpful for tourist. There is a small pocket size book in collection for daily use of Turkish language and also two Istanbulkart - this is very thoughtful. Would highly recommend the place and hosts, everything was simply superb.

This apartment is amazing for family trip

This apartment is amazing for family trip, the location is excellent where is next to Galata Tower. And everything is available inside the apartment so we can enjoy the roof terrace, cook and spend time together with family. It’s wonderful experience there. The view from the roof was stunning!

The place was a hidden gem in a very lively area. Despite it being a lively area the apartment remained relatively quiet. There were lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The view from the roof was stunning! We definitely enjoyed our stay and Julia was very responsive and took great care of us. I definitely recommend her place.

Just outstanding in every way! Outstanding communication with the owner and manager. Even better location - step out the door, turn left, and there is the Galata Tower within selfie range! Apartment itself is beautiful and well maintained. Would definitely stay again!
