“The best place to stay on Skiathos! Room was wonderful, with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchenette, and lovely balcony with a view of the sea. It was a 30 second walk to a beach with gorgeous turquoise water in addition to a 25 minute walk into town. “Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. “This villa is in a beautiful stunning rural location but by car its less than 10 minutes from Skiathos town and this makes it a perfect retreat but still near amenities. “A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. “We stayed at Perivoliou Villa as a family of four with our 19,18 year old ‘children’ we loved the location and was perfectly as described, rural, quiet, beautiful views. As others have said driveway is an experience, but to be fair we loved it every time we did it! “A stay at Strawberry is a sweet experience. Margarita was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for you. Erstes Problem war, dass man mit der Buchung keinen konkreten Namen der Unterkuft erhält, noch eine genaue Adresse. Somit war es erstmal schwierig die Unterkunft zu finden, ist auch überhaupt nicht beschildert. Ohne Hilfe der Einheimischen, überhaupt nicht möglich. “The owner met us at the port and was available during our stay for any queries we had. The noise from the road could be loud at times but did not really bother us. “The hotel is beautiful, staff are extremely friendly & English is very well spoken here. There is a bus literally outside the hotel that takes you into Skiathos town where you can dine & shop for hours. The only criticism would be the bathrooms we stayed in the 300’s & they are very dated quite awkward with a double folding glass door.
