We enjoyed the fact that the pool, which has outstanding views of the bay, has a bar and food brought to you from the kitchen, which is open until 10 p.m. The beds were reasonably comfortable, with decent pillows. "No my room didn't overlook the beach. The room was clean and it was in a terrific location with easy access to everything. This is like a historic building. It's ginormous and it's right across from the beach so lots of rooms face the beach. It has air conditioning. We had two private bedrooms with bathroom and a fridge It suit our needs perfectly. Breakfast was included in the room price. "
