“Die Temperaturen waren Ende Mai sehr angenehm. Tagsüber warm, abeds kühlt es schön ab. Unser Apartment war ausreichend groß , vom Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss hat man Zugang zur sehr grossen Dachterrasse. Die Aussenanlage ist schön angelegt , hat einen grossen Pool. Wenn einem die nächtlichen Konzerte von Hühnern und Hunden nicht stören, dann kann man sich hier sehr gut erholen.”

“Property was just as described and host was responsive and very helpful. Wonderfully private setting with out of this world views, yet short drive to villages of Iznajar and Rute. Pool was great and layout of the house worked very well for our family. Host (Jim) even helped us jump start our car battery which had died! We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway spot.”

“We enjoyed our holiday in Casa Hiraeth from the first to the last day. The weather was perfect and the view of the Andalusian landscape so beautiful. The design of the house, the furnishing of the individual rooms, the beds, the kitchen, the pool, everything was perfect and clean. The interior of the house is extremely tasteful and well maintained. Particularly noteworthy are the many different seating areas on different levels in the outdoor area. We felt absolutely comfortable with our family……

“Well were to start! Firstly Lisa and Nigel are THE MOST helpful hosts we have EVER had the pleasure to meet whilst on holiday in a villa! Nothing was ever to much trouble. They organised restaurants for a lovely meal , booked us coaches for days/nights out, organised takeaways, which is a MUST the food was to die for we ordered it two nights and recommended to visit Iznajar Lake and beach which was AMAZING!!👍 The little pub up the hill they told us to try out was also a hit, Pepe and Higieno……

“Beautifully kept property with a fabulous pool. Right in the middle of the olive growing region about 10 minutes to the local town of Iznajar. Good roads to the property. The hosts live in half of the property and the other half is for guests. There are air con towers provided, generally these would be sufficient, but temperatures reached about 41 degrees while we were there. We would have loved built in air con units, but understand that the cost for this would be high. Pam and Tom were great……

“We would highly recommend this villa, its beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The views looking up to the village are amazing. We spent a relaxing week here chilling by the pool. We also hired a car and drove down to the beach near Malaga recommend by our hosts. You would definitely need a car if you have mobility issues as the village has very steep roads to climb but worth the views. Thanks to Clay and Lesley our wonderful hosts.”

“We spent a wonderful week at Casa Christa and enjoyed this lovely setting tremendously! We stayed in Casita Elisa which was very comfortable and well equipped, and had a great private terrace and pool. Christa and Pascal were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to returning to this paradise in the mountains.”

“Two families travelled together, the property was exactly as advertised, large, well equipped and in a rural location. Don’t be confused with nearest beach being on the coast as this was not the case, to get to the sea it was a 45 minute drive. It was extremely hot when we were there and although all rooms were equipped with fans the bedrooms may have benefited from having air con, however having said that mosquito nets at the window meant you could leave shutters and windows open all night.……

“Fantastischer Blick in die Landschaft. Leider gab es sehr vile Ameisen (auch im Bett) und Vespen auf der Veranda. Wegen der Wasserknappheit gab es öfter kein fließendes Wasser. Der Vorratstank hat nur bedingt Abhilfe geschaffen. Etwas mehr Schatten auf der Veranda wäre schön gewesen.”
