“Tough day apparently for the well meaning front desk staff and manager. Checked in at 5:30pm on a busy Saturday evening in March. Pull out couch was opened with mattress in half and bottom sheet along with it. Top sheet was in a heap on the night stand. Trash can in kitchen “suite” was on its side. Hmmmm went back down to share with front desk. Manager apologized and said they would take care of it. Also would address stale cigarette odor. Before leaving for dinner 6:45 told staff we were……

“Rooms are not that clean. Old and needed to be updated- tub looked rough and not clean. Went to use the pool, and had to get out after discovering feces floating in the pool. Our door did not properly stay locked”

“The body soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty. As for the shampoo and conditioner, it was impossible to tell what was actually inside them. The building itself is old, and the walls were peeling in places. The staff at the front desk seemed reluctant to refill the water and coffee provided in the lobby area. I was shocked when someone on an upper floor threw a water bottle down to the ground below! I’m just relieved that no one was injured.”

“Not sure where to start Expedia rating was like 7.2 which I can’t believe - never will believe a rating on Expedia again. I had 2 rooms but I had my daughter sleep in my room (hotel didn't feel safe). Friends dropped by from the Naval base, but they didn’t want to get out of their car, place didn’t seem safe. Rooms smelled like cigarettes, beds are noisy since on metal frames, front door had a big gap in door frame - could see people walk by. One room had a balcony but no door handle to……
