“Our family of four was so cozy and comfortable during our stay at the Maple Apartment. The location made it easy to access everywhere we needed to go and the apartment was very quiet, very clean, very peaceful and just lovely. We were sorry and rather embarrassed that we bungled the driveway situation on our first go-around. Waze directed us to the front of the property and even with a sign in the front yard reminding us that guest parking was around the back, we needed a reminder. Next time……

“Cottage provides everything you need to enjoy Ashland. Close to the Safeway and walkable to town. The living room area would be a tight fit for more than 2 people. The loveseat only fits 2 people. “My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and we loved it! I went food shopping at Ray’s grocery store when we arrived for snacks and drinks. Ray’s is next door to Ace Hardware and both are very close. You are within a short walking distance to downtown so we enjoyed the three coffee shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The owners were very communicative with emails. “Not great communication from owner but there seems to be some personal issues happening which is understandable but made our check in a little rough. The listing says there is an oven and stove top which there is not.Small kitchenette which is fine but cleaning dishes was very difficult as you have to use a bathroom sink.Beautiful views but one of the blinds was broken and we had to struggle with it and tie it to the chair to keep it open. “In general, the space was acceptable, but there were a number of issues. The inexpensive blinds did not create a completely private space (and one was broken). The silverware in the drawer appeared poorly cleaned. The wifi network was only available the first of the three-day stay, which made being there for a work trip quite difficult. Upon entering the space, there was a distasteful smell, which I believe was the use of a fragrance to cover up a moldy smell.”
