“A really nice cozy cabin in a wonderful part of the NC mountains! Convenient to Highlands and Cashiers. Large primary bedroom, nicely furnished and provisioned. Hosts were exceptional and answered any questions we had and responded immediately. Would certainly stay again! ”

“The property is beautiful a wonderful cabin to enjoy relaxing at after enjoying the outdoors. The host has refinished the home. It was her fathers. She has done the wirk herself. I am an artist and builder and i know what effort it takes to do so. The home has a large open common great room kitchen. Just off main road. The host was so accommodating and responded quickly. I was up for a loss of a family member and she even let my dog out for me checking on the heat for me with the weather……

“I was a little nervous to stay in this cabin because of previous reviews, but it truly was an amazing place to stay! Here are my pros and cons of our trip (2 nights, 6 adults, no kids): PROS- Property owners have cleared the trees blocking the view so the back porch is AMAZING.- Lots of entertainment to make up for no internet. “Excellent place. Road to house is one lane gravel/dirt but easy to navigate. Just SLOW DOWN. Never ran across any vehicles coming from other direction but that could get dicey. And night driving may be a bear. But we enjoyed the location. Only caught one trout but had a great time. Highly recommend.”

“Mike, was a very good host. He made sure to let me know of the weather conditions. I was nervous on how I was going to get out but it came together good. The home is very nice and spacious with the kitchen, dining and living room all open together. We stayed in the cabin the whole time we were there because of the ice and snow, mainly snow.”

“Positives - The house is beautiful. Very spacious with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were very clean and comfy. The fire pit was awesome, and the outside was private and great for kids and/or dogs. We didn't bring our dog, but very comfortably could have. The grandkids loved the loft.
