「We wanted a pet friendly "home away from home" and we certainly found it. The cottage is very nicely appointed inside and has pretty much everything you could want! We only used the master bed and although it is quite a soft mattress it is very comfortable and great pillows (which we never find!) We didn't bring our fishing gear but you couldn't really fish from the back it is too weedy, but it is not far to fishing spots. There were nice places to walk our dog right from the cottage. 「Amazing, quaint, older home with loads of character. Comfortable and convenient. Many interesting decorations and creative collections of antiques. Everything you need for a great stay. 」

「We stayed here for a family reunion and had a great time. The location was perfect. Being right on the river means mosquitoes at times, that's what long sleeves and bug spray is for. We brought some SUPs and enjoyed putting in right from the dock on the property. The fire pit was also a big hit. We made good use of the entertainment options - the piano, giant checkerboard on the back porch, dart board and foosball table in the basement, and Cornhole in the yard.
