「This wasn't my favourite budget hotel. There was a funky smell in our room when we first went in. (We didn't ask to change rooms, as we were tired and didn't want the hassle. I am sure they would have accommodated our needs. So I cannot really complain now, because I didn't ask to have the problem rectified at the time).
Luckily, the window opened, but it was on the ground floor, so we weren't comfortable sleeping with the window open; it would have been nice to air out the room. The bed...

「There was a road crew staying on the property same time as us. The person in the room above us, walked like he had cement shoes on. Every step was a stomp. Plus they would wake up around 4 to start their day. The ice machine was right outside our door. A family was leaving that day about 6 that morning.
