Was upgraded to a suite which was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Dinner at restaurant on property was very good as was breakfast. Convenient to the Tetons.
This beautiful hotel is nestled away from noise of Jackson, WY. It is very clean inside and out. I loved the cabin themed furniture and decor. The hotel breakfast restaurant was delicious and so was the Whetstone Grill located on the premises. We loved it so much that we plan to return with our family. Staff were very friendly!
Our kids enjoyed the onsite playground, grassy area, tents and wagons.
The room was nice, the location was great!
Just to be clear, there is No fridge in the room and they dont have cribs.
I loved the cute historical feel and mountain vibe. The price was reasonable compared to stays in the parks and the location was perfect for our adventure. After a day in the Tetons and Jackson, pulling up here with a yummy onsite restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was exactly what we needed. The resort didn’t show its age from a wear standpoint, and was a lovely stop for us.
If you want a fancy hotel, this isn’t your spot. The decor was quaint, the room was clean and safe. The grounds felt like a tight community. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
Clean, neat and nice place to stay. We got there really late due to flight delayed but the owner had our key ready at the bulletin so we could still go in. Definitely recommended!!
Lovely resort. They also have a convenience store (also where you check in) with souvenirs, snacks, clothes, essentials (reasonble price! compared with grand teton park..). No free breakfast but they have two resturants: one for breakfast/lunch and one for dinner. I love the breakfast one - I had the best hash brown there. Dinner is not my type tho.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hatchet resort We especially enjoyed having a great 2 restaurant combination on site and we discussed staying again in the future.
The room was clean and comfortable. Though the bathroom is shared, there was no problem using it when we needed it. It was quiet as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the property was excellent.
Small resort with cute log cabin feeling. Room was nice size and updated. Bed and linens were comfortable. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent
Very enjoyable stay. Quiet area, excellent restaurant. Wonderful staff who are also supportive of the fire crew. Liked it well enough that we came back.
Absolutely loved this place! It’s rustic, quiet and you don’t have to leave to get a meal. Restaurant waitstaff were so friendly! Go Hoosiers!😀 although it has no air conditioning, it was so refreshing to sleep with the windows open and get the cool mountain air.
This place is in the middle of nowhere. Dont plan to walk to anything to do.
There is no cell service in this area but the wifi here was good.
Breakfast restraunt was fine. Dinner was pricey and small portions.
The place was clean and very comfortable bed. No ac but the cool nights with windows open was nice. Quiet, clean place if you need to sleep.
Small room with few amenities. There was a disagreeable odor especially in the bathroom, so we wiped the down the entire room including the bathroom with Clorox wipes. When we talked to the young man at the front desk about it he couldn't care less. Not worth half the $350+ cost. Most of the TV channels we wanted to watch said "You have not purchased this channel", but if you are looking for a jacuzzi replacement or dentures you are in luck. No hangers or coat rack or closet, no microwave or mini-fridge, no breakfast, etc. By contrast, the $369/night suite we stayed at in West Yellowstone had a kitchen, bedroom, large dining area, and elaborate breakfast spread, and lots of amenities.
