When I got there to check in I knew it was a $25 extra fee for early check in only 2 hours but I noticed the pool was closed and they said it was not opening back up so I didn't want to stay here for that reason but I asked for the inconvenience of no pool could I have my $25 waived or be compensated for something well the Indian girl working the front desk was polite and said let me ask the manager and of course here comes an African American woman with a attitude telling her what is the problem what she want we ain't doing all that today so of course I can hear very well she explained to her what I requested and I said if I knew the pool was closed I would have booked somewhere else because my son wants to get in a pool smart mouth African American woman says we can't just post that online because anything can happen so I said well if y'all can't do something for the inconvenience I'm not staying here so I had to leave and find us somewhere else to stay and luckily it was so much better it was actually my first choice but I was trying to save money and their pool was opened and the staff was exceptional and the amenities were phenomenal they saved our mother son trip and even gave us extra services once I explained what I just went through at Baymont therefore I will never go back to Baymont or recommend it to anyone poor customer service skills and amenities not up to par being rude not trying to help for the inconvenience of the place you decide to work at is disgusting!!

I never made it past the front desk. I had 4 kids with me that I promised an indoor pool. I read the other reviews saying the pool was closed alot but I thought maybe the reviews were old. Pulled up and front desk said pool was closed so I had insurance on the trip and cancelled.

The pool was closed. We booked this hotel based on location and pool. We had a long day of driving and wanted to give our children swim time to burn energy. At no point were we notified the pool would have been closed.

I was excited to stay there because it looked cozy! However, my experience started off bad from check in. I told the lady I had already did the online check in through Expedia and paid. It said that I should be able to pick up my keys and go. Well, she made me go through the whole process again. Plus, she said I had to give them $100 in cash for a deposit. I have given deposits before but it’s never had to be in cash. So that felt weird, but once we go to the room. I got an email saying I was charged again. I checked my bank account and I was charged twice for the room and it was different amounts. When I called about it, the lady said she would refund it but it would take 8-10 business days so between the cash deposit and being charged twice, I had almost $400 tied up. I went with this hotel because the price was affordable and ended up unable to use most of my spending money for the trip. Then, at check out, the lady had to check to make sure we cleaned our room completely (which we did!) before she would give us back the $100 cash. It felt like they were trying to find a reason to keep it, but they couldn’t. Also, we were on the 2nd floor and it feels like you are going to fall through the floor walking down the hallway.

The floors were dirty, gum was stuck on the carpet, trash on the floor, the pantry liner from a bathing suite or something was stuck on the side table. The parking lot was a hangout. People were being loud out my window through the night.

Room was clean. Staff friendly. My only complaints are that there isn’t a coffee maker in room and that there are people smoking at literally every entrance but that’s not the hotels fault.

What a mess! Clogged shower and couldn’t shower my 2 kids and the hotel refused to help in any way. Also the room has broken sharp tiles right in the walkway. Very messy and unprofessional when checking out in the morning with multiple personal laptops, makeup and cell phone just sitting out covering the desk blocking the actual hotels computer . They even offered partial refund in person and then refused to approve it then lied saying the manager wasn’t there….after personally talking to her. Terrible place run by liars Look out!

If I could do zero I would. These reviews and pictures LIIIIIIED to me. It’s like a run down motel more than a hotel….with that being said first room I got had black mold alllll over the fridge and in the toilet, second room was a room that I chain smoker had stayed in because it REAKED of cigarette smoke and I have three young kids, third room was just as bad, the door didn’t lock, the ac unit had black mold and food and built of dust all over it with mold going up the wall,the chair had weird stains all over it, the floor and ceiling falling apart, I could’ve saved my money and slept in my car at a rest stop cause heck no! I need to see the rooms that the pictures show and the good reviews are talking about cause I’ve gone through three rooms and have yet to see it….
