The property is nice but need to be updated a little. The pool is amazing they have a game room cool restaurant is open 24 hours. Breakfast is the same everyday. The hotel is like a 10 min walk to Jaco Way and the beach

We are a party of 6 that stayed in 3 Junior Suites. Rooms are nice and service is good. Property urgently needs updating and repairs. According to the information displayed in Expedia, Breakfast was supposed to be free but, the hotel staff said that it was not included in the rate. So we had no complimentary breakfast.

The room was given to us 2 hours after the check in time and our children had to wait at the lobby for the room keys. I chose this hotel for the pool so my siblings could enjoy the place and we did lost half a day. When I asked for compensation, they offered a late check out until 1:30 pm which I usually get anyway for my membership status. Anyway, NOT HAPPY

Hotel Amapola is a great place over Jaco Beach. Just perfect for families with small kids. The pool is great and it has amenities for the small ones and for adults. Rooms are excellent and just in front of the pool. Mexican restaurant beside the hotel is great! Ask for the Tacos for Share (pa’ compartir)
