The people who work here are wonderful and helpful. Today as I was leaving, a workman there helped me by taking my walker down two treacherous steps and loading my junk in the rental car. The two steep steps leading into the unit need a ramp that can be put over the steps for walkers or wheelchairs. This is true for the steps to the pool, as well. Car parking is behind locked gates and beach access is too. Keys are given to clientele so there is no problem with safety or egress. This is a great site! The tropical birds are not shy in the morning and their songs can either gently wake you up or soothe you right back to sleep!

Challenges for prospective visitors: There are probably good reasons for no-cancel and extra person charge policies in a "party town", but for a family with adult kids, having booked in a hurry based on the displayed daily rate, getting charged extra for a fourth person on a room that sleeps 6 felt like we'd been misled. Check-in: pre-arrival comms on timing had us a little concerned we wouldn't have someone to check us in. We did not get any response to our outreach to confirm that someone would be there to receive us later than the office was open, but the custodian did meet us when we arrived. The property is on an alley that has a surprising amount of foot and vehicle of traffic, some noise early to late, more on the weekends. There is a gate to the beach at the end of the alley that is unlocked during the day, another hotel and a busy restaurant between the property and the beach. One area between cabanas, on the alley, seemed be being used for work: tree wreckage, several garbage bags piled up. Workmanship of the updates is rough --one ceiling fan/light did not work (we were told on check in), loose outlet mountings-- safety worries. Just one working burner on stovetop, pots and pans were in rough shape -- hard to use. Good: rooms nicely re-designed. Overall, garden grounds, pool area beautiful, some, wildlife, secure compound, parking inside gates, locked after 6. The only place we found that had separate rooms for the beds, a 300 yrd walk to beach.

This was a nice and affordable place to stay in Jaco. There is a security gate that locks for entry into the parking area and hotel compound, so you can rest assured that your vehicle will not be tampered with. The location was convenient, about a half block from the main strip of the city and also the beach. Comfortable bed, nice appliances and shower. I would stay there agin.

Great location and just down the same street located on the beach is the restaurant Coco's. The garden area is beautiful. The pool is a nice hang with a covered area that has a pool table and grill. It's a simple check in and out. Just have to use WhatsApp.

Terrible!!!! Llegamos y la recepción a las 3:30pm estaba cerrada. No había absolutamente nadie.” Pegando gritos” salió un jardinero. Hizo una llamada y como 30 min después nos dio la llave de la habitación y se fue. En la tarde nos dimos cuenta que no había gas para cocinar, y sorpresa, NADIE nos contestó llamadas ni WhatsApp (1 hora llamando y escribiendo desde las 6pm hasta las 7pm) y NADIE contestó. No habían más huéspedes solo nosotros y NADIE que nos atendiera. No había gas, algunos tomas no servían, la piscina no funcionó desde que llegamos y menos en la noche, todo oscuro y sin luz. Simplemente nos dieron una llave para estar ahí sin poder disfrutar de lo que ofrecían. A esta fecha nadie se ha comunicado conmigo, nadie se ha disculpado y nadie me atendió.
