Beautiful place and comfy sanctuary for a group of three retired women and three still-workers. Remote enough for privacy but close enough to walk to restaurants or Uber to grocery store. Young friendly cat visited everyday (outside). We had a blast! Highly recommend!

Very comfortable home. Well stocked kitchen and enough seating for a family. Huge master suite. Scarlet macaws outside the windows. Nice pool and sleep to the waves crashing on the shore. Only issue was the master shower. The tub was high and hard to climb in and out with a slippery floor when feet are wet. I fell and sprained my knee, so be careful or use other, easier showers.

Our stay at Playa Hermosa was excellent. The house is even better than the pictures,… it was spotlessly clean and maintained and included everything you might need for a relaxing vacation. We spent a lot of time hanging by the pool or enjoying the shade in the upstairs veranda. And the daily visits from the wild macaws added a tropical touch which we loved. Everyone involved was so helpful, it was appreciated. Also don’t miss out on the nearby empanadas restaurant (the menu and ad was on the fridge). They made a great dinner after a day at the beach. One thing to note, the beach across the street is a surfer’s beach and not safe for swimming. But it is so beautiful! And we loved hearing the sound of the crashing waves at all hours! I actually preferred the pristine solitude of ‘our’ beach to a more crowded and/or commercial swimmer’s beach

We had a family of 6 stay here. All of us had a great time. We enjoyed the pool, the view, and location. It wasn’t too far from Jaco and there was nearby restaurants within a 5 min drive. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and spices as well as bbq utensils. Our only complaints is the towels are dingy and stained, some of the furniture particularly outdoor furniture needs to be cleaned, and bathroom tiles need caulking. Overall the stay was really great. If I ever visit CR again, we would stay here again.

The house is easy to find a spacious. It isn't far from Jaco. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We loved having our own pool and close access to the beach. We spent a lot of time in the water in the pool and the beach. I would like to point out that the beach is a beautiful black sand beach but it is more of a surfing beach than a swimming beach. The riptide is strong and there are signs warning against swimming. We still had fun playing in the waves, only going in thigh deep. We would recommend this as a place to stay.

Had a great time it was our 13th. time to be in Costa Rica and this was one of the best. The house is huge and has everything you could ask for. Both David the owner and the property manager were very helpful and easy to get in touch with. The house and grounds were very clean and in good shape along with a very nice pool which we used every day. The black sand beach is great to take long walks or run and during the week days very few people we will be back.

Realmente la casa nos encantó, segura y privada, con buen espacio, muy limpia, equipada, campo verde, buena piscina. Fuí con mis hermanos mi hija y mis padres buscando un lugar seguro donde estuviéramos en privado para no contagiarnos de COVID y aún así disfrutar y lo encontramos. Muchas gracias !
