Room was good. Clean. Neat. Pool very nice. Quiet. Breakfast was superb and lady was so nice. You have to drive all through a small town to get there. But resort is very peaceful and quiet.

Loved our brief stay here. It's a beautiful sanctuary of nature. Feels like middle of the jungle, but groomed. Our room was clean and inviting, the staff friendly and Patricia was super helpful in helping with our transportation needs.

Large room with cooking facility. Comfortable. Difficult to find without your own means of transport. When the bus dropped us at the main road we called the hotel and a vehicle was quickly sent to pick us up. Because it is so far from shops and restaurants we ordered food via WhatsApp messages to the manageress (Patricia) & she kindly brought it to us in her car. Staff helpful. Breakfast was provided at the pool side. Howler monkeys would start screaming at about 4.30 am

Le lieu en lui même est très joli au millieu de la nature, piscine sympas . La chambre aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement. Le seul hôtel à nous avoir facturé 30 $ pour notre enfant alors que nous avions une chambre quadruple avec deux grand lit. Le personnel au petit déjeuner avait l'air blazer de notre présence et n'attendais qu'une chose que l'on partent. Une voiture est indispensable car vraiment rien autour

Tolle kleine Häuser quasi im Dschungel! Auf dem Unterkunftsgelände hat es viele Vögel, wir konnten sogar Aras beim Nisten beobachten! Schöner Pool umgeben von Natur. Frühstück war sehr gut, Personal ausgesprochen nett.

The cabins are comfortable and clean, and the A/C worked great. The cabins are surrounded by lovely tropical forest and gardens. We didn’t have time to use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for catching early morning birding tours at nearby Carara NP. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved Selva Color for a place to stay near Carara National Park and the village of Tarcoles, where you can see the gorgeous Scarlet Macaw Parrots, many other beautiful birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. 10 minute drive. There are Macaws right on the property to squawk their greetings as you check in. The staff was friendly and professional and answered all of my questions in English. The cabin I had was older, but beautifully decorated with the Scarlet Macaw red theme (perfect for me). Everything worked well, such ad frige and coffee maker, and everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and the secured grounds felt very quiet and safe. I went to Tarcoles village beach to watch the Macaws turn in for the evening and to enjoy a fabulous sunset. I recommend Selva Color for a good night sleep before serous birding in Carara National Park.
