Welcome to Finca Mariposa! Located just outside Jardín Antioquia. Many say the most captivating pueblo in all of Colombia! You will stay in our 3 bedroom mountain home, nestled within our coffee farm, overlooking the spectacular Andes mountains. Minutes from Jardín, you will enjoy the tranquillity of the Colombian countryside in your own private finca; surrounded by nature but spoiled by the comforts of a beautiful country home. The entire finca is yours to explore; including walking trails, view points and access to a private river and waterfall. The Finca is well equipped with luxurious bedding, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful modern bathrooms, laundry facilities and Wifi. Mariposa is entirely yours as private accomodation. You will be greeted in Jardin by our on site hosts Daniel and Andrea, who will transport you by jeep or lead you in your own vehicle to Finca Mariposa. Daniel and Andrea have lived in the region their whole lives and will be your "go to" source for everything you need during your stay. If you choose, they can provide you with a wide variety of eco/agro tourism experiences (coffee tours, amazing jeep excursions into the mountains, bird watching, horse back riding, hikes to spectacular 'cascades' aka waterfalls). Their guiding experience and knowledge of the area is outstanding. Although the food in Jardin is wonderful (see our guest package for recommendations) we highly recommend you spoil yourself with Andrea's delicious cooking. Her hearty home made meals are inexpensive and not to be missed during your stay. Her cooking easily rivals the best Colombian "typico" food you will find anywhere in the country.
