Great location a short walk from Barkaby station which provides easy access to Stockholm.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast buffet was amazing with a large choice including really nice fresh bread.
Have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years as its convenient for the city, good value and comfortable.
Otherwise a nice hotel, but the room was very small.

Liked: Cleanliness
It was clean and comfortable but no drink making facilities which is a pretty normal basic. It is a pain to have to go out and buy every drink from the bar especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Plus the towels were really small
Exceeded expectations by every metric. If you're trying to avoid staying close to Stockholm but want to see the city regardless, the train station nearby couldn't be more convenient. I have been underwhelmed by the home hotel product thus far, Welcome is way better.
Our family had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We were travelling with kids aged 5, 7 and 11, and they all loved the hotel - and so did we adults! The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was really good (I especially loved their coffee and omelettes!). The pool area was really nice and our kids just loved to be able to swim there every day (the swimming time for families with kids was from 9 to 12 in the morning). We even got clean towels, bathrobes and slippers to the pool area from the reception every day! We stayed at the family room with two connecting rooms which was very convenient. The rooms were quite small (at least with the amount of luggage that we had with us) but manageable. The rooms were a bit warm during nights but there was a big fan in the room (which was quite noisy though). We also had our own fan with us so we used that in the other room. The parking lot was big and free of charge. We could even charge our car in the parking lot since there were three chargers for electric vehicles. The location of the hotel was just brilliant! There are lots of grocery stores (we used Maxi ICA every day) and outlets nearby (and even an outlet village). We would definitely come back here anytime and will recommend this hotel for our friends and relatives!
Overlooking little outdoor pool . Not family friendly- terrible if you are booking this place as family with kids. Cramp room. Dated, reused toiletries. Avoid this place at any cost
Welcome Hotel was once my preferred choice when visiting the area, but declining standards led me to move my business elsewhere. After two years, I decided to give it another chance with a five-night stay. Unfortunately, nothing appears to have changed.
Housekeeping was inconsistent throughout my visit. My room was not serviced after the first night. Despite displaying the "Service My Room" sign for the remainder of my stay, the bathroom was partially cleaned on day two, while the bed and waste bin were left untouched. For the final two days, no housekeeping service was provided at all.
The Superior King Room remains compact, but I had hoped to see some investment in refurbishment. Instead, the room showed obvious signs of wear, including stained carpets, scratched furniture, a loose toilet seat, and ineffective ventilation that supplied only lukewarm air. The limited TV channel selection, one of the reasons I stopped staying here previously, also remains unchanged and is disappointing for a hotel at this price point.
Breakfast is still acceptable, although the selection has been slightly reduced. Staff work hard but often struggle to keep buffet items replenished, even at less busy periods. The evening restaurant has also deteriorated. Menu choices are even more limited than before, offering insufficient variety for multi-night guests. On one evening I chose Uber Eats over the hotel restaurant, which says much about the dining experience.
