“Upon arrival, we were informed that our reservation was not recorded on their system despite presenting physical evidence. I was in state of Ihram and remained composed to proceed with our Umrah. Upon arrival approximately four hours later, no confirmation of our reservation was received. We contacted Expedia who subsequently sent an email to the manager. We finally arrived at our room around 5:30 pm. Awful experience which ruined it for entire stay at the hotel. Will never be staying here……

“Great breakfast, excellent hospitality, and amazing distance from gate 79 into Masjid Al Haram. 10/10 would stay here again! ”

“Clean room but average breakfast ”

“Checking in was very easy. You do not get dropped off right outside the hotel and it is on the main road however this hotel 1 minute walk from the main road. There is a supermarket right next door for your needs and they sell everything. This is a 10 min walk from the masjid however this is reflected in the price. There are loads of food options close by and a few pharmacies aswell. ”

“I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Diar Al Khalidiya, especially during Ramadan. From the first day, the WiFi in my room did not work. I reported this 6–7 times, but nothing was done. I was forced to sit in reception for hours just to access the internet, along with other guests facing the same issue. This caused major stress and lack of sleep. The situation became much worse when my Qatar Airways flight was cancelled due to the Middle East conflict. I urgently needed WiFi to contact……

“Nice rooms”

“The hotel is very conveniently located to access the haram, just have to cross the road. I was very impressed from check in to check out, all the staff are very helpful and friendly throughout. The lifts at this hotel are absolutely awesome, never a long wait for a lift at any time. The view from our room out to the haram from the 8th floor was great. Rooms aren’t big but well equipped and fairly modern, showers are great. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“La chambre etait sale. Aucun équipements. Travaux en cours dans l’hôtel, impossible de dormir. Trop de bruit avec les enfants qui ne savaient pas dormir. On a voulu changer de chambre mais ils n’ont pas voulu. 10 fois on a demandé des essuis, ils n’ont jamais ramené. Telephone cassé. Pas de papier toilettes. A fuir l’hotel car gaspillage argent. ”

“Hotel are literally two miles away feom Haram. If you think about walking, think about walking uphill throughout two miles uphill. Taxies are robbers, charge you unreasonable price For each trip and not available often. Reception staaf are very non cooperative. ”
