Stayed here while moving my daughter to Jasper. Clean and comfortable. And in an excellent location. Parking is first come first serve with overflow across the street. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The complementary ear plugs came in handy let me tell you!

Had a good experience at the Crimson. The location was great, and the beds very comfortable, which are 2 key strengths. I was just a bit disappointed in the small details like not having enough coffee supplies and no dishes or cutlery in the room even though it was a studio.

The temperature in the room was cool when we first arrived (thermostat at 65F) but it warmed to an agreeable temperature after we increased it. The liquid handsoap (lemongrass) was very pleasant. We were on the main floor, and so the exterior door and parking right outside were very convenient. Ate in the restaurant the first evening. Menu selection was somewhat limited with mostly high end but few middle priced items. I would have liked a steak sandwich; had to settle for a hamburger. Wife enjoyed her steak skewers. Both were very good. Building was clean and quiet. Location was convenient. We would stay here again.

Stayed here with my kids over spring break for 4 nights. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main drag. It also has a restaurant. We got a studio room with 2 queens. The pool and hot tub are nice. The parking is limited, it's full after 4, then gotta park on the street. Which is paid parking May to October. were two big issues. On the morning of the second day the smoke detector starting beeping. So I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they'd take care of it. Evening comes around, it beeps again. So I figured out how to stop it. Beeps again at 230 in the morning so I stopped it again. Talked to front desk in the morning again and they said they would fix it. Midnight comes, it beeps. At this point I'm very annoyed. I call the front desk, they tell me to disconnect it. I said huh? The guy was like can you disconnect it. So, half asleep, i climb up onto a chair and figure out how to unscrew it then unplug it. I just couldn't belive they expected a guest to be hotel maintenance. Afterwards I thought what if I fell. What if i was electrocuted or injured in some other way. Yeah the risk was low but it was surprising they took that chance. And if that wasn't enough the mini-fridge turned into a freezer halfway through the stay. The milk froze, the juice froze, even my beer froze. I didn’t bother to say anything, i just put ice in my cooler and used that. For the price($200 a night) and location, its decent. Just the issues I had really stood out as a big negative

Clean rooms. Some minor renovations which is making this place look great. Staff are friendly. Pool is small, hot tub is great. Bring your own robe for long walks back to room from pool. If you’re an early to bed, bring ear plugs. Appreciated the ear plugs they provide.

When we first got into our room it was set to 68 with the ac on. It was cold! Then we went to make coffee and the Keurig leaked all the water out. We went to the front desk and they said the maintenance person would be back at xx time. About 40 min after that time we went downstairs to the hot tub and the staff forgot about our request. Got back to the room, they left the old Keurig plugged in and left the replacement one on the desk. The new machine didn’t work either, not sure if a plug issue or not. Even with the heat turned on the ac was still going.

Staff were helpful and friendly. We did have to park across the street but did unload all baggage on thr premise so it wasn't too inconvenient. Hot tub and pool area was clean.
