"Our stay at the camp was truly wonderful. The Karp family was warm and welcoming, making sure we knew they were there if we needed anything while also giving us privacy to enjoy the space.The camp itself is exactly what you hope for in a classic Maine camp: clean, organized, and clearly cared for over the years. It has all the charming details that make a camp feel like a camp—finely crafted spider webs, wiggly screen doors, creaky floors, and the unmistakable feeling that it has been deeply cherished.The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of extra linens, blankets, and towels. The screened-in porch was a dream—a perfect place to let tired swimmers dry off, relax, and stay protected from those buggy Maine evenings. There were plenty of fans, a well-stocked kitchen, and everything we needed.A note for future guests: the walk down to the water is a true camp path and may be challenging for someone with mobility concerns. But the views are stunning, the swimming is wonderful, and well worth the walk down. While it may not be “luxury,” I think that word is wonderfully subjective. To us, luxury was quiet mornings on the water, stunning sunsets, peaceful nights, and the sound of loons calling.This was the perfect little getaway—a charming slice of Maine that was hard to leave. We can’t wait to save up more pennies so we can come back and experience this little piece of magic again. Thank you, Karp family, for sharing such a special place with us. "

"We had an amazing time! The view coming into the property immediately off the road takes your breath away. I thought the lake would be busier but we were pleasantly surprised to have little to no traffic on the water all week. It is an amazing getaway if you’re looking for a serene trip on the lake!"

"This Maine log cabin is absolutely beautiful. Ingham pond is serene and gorgeous. We kayaked, swam in the pond, hiked, and fished. We saw loons, herons and bald eagles. Roger was an amazing host. Very responsive, and his property is probably the most beautiful VRBO property we have ever seen. Highest possible recommendation. The cabin is fantastically equipped and furnished. We had a few people with us so we rented the bunk house also. Such a great weekend! We really hope to return soon!"
