“We found this cute little hidden gem after a last minute decision to visit Cooperstown with our kids, and we were definitely lucky! This is a small rental but comfy, cozy and enough space for our family of 4. Quiet, beautiful surrounding woods, but not far from amenities and downtown. This home is clean, updated, and the kids loved having the loft as their own space. The owner was very communicative and had the electric fireplace on before we arrived. The cottage was super clean, well-stocked, and had a great porch attached to the cottage. Check-in was easy, and we took advantage of the firepit at night. We had a great weekend!”

“This property was wonderful. Easy to find, very clean and welcoming, and plenty of room to make yourself at home. The property owner was easy to reach as well. The only downside, although manageable, was the automatic lock on the door. The door sags and drags a touch and because of this the bolt becomes stuck in the lock and the mechanism cannot unlock the door. We found that lifting the door slightly after entering the code alleviated this problem. Still, this should be addressed by the……

“The cabin is very clean, with a nice porch on the lake. Coffee in the morning on the lake was quite nice. There is an outdoor shower which is private and the hot water comes on quickly. The water inside is not potable, and there are obvious signs not to drink it. The hosts provide drinking water. They also provide lots of snacks/coffee/toothbrushes and other amenities you may need. Electric outlets are somewhat sparse but manageable.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Lago House. Our grandkids had such a great time that they asked about coming back! Only one suggestion: The property slopes to the water in the back, and it would be helpful if the stone steps were evenly placed instead of uneven, we are in our 60's and fearful of stepping on them and falling in the uneven condition they are in. Other than that, Troy was a super host and very responsive. Thank you Troy!”
