Cottages in Jefferson County

"The property was rated as ocean front but it is about 2 1/2 blocks away you can see the ocean in a distance.. if you walk take mosquito spray they will eat your flesh.. there is a standing water area you have to walk by to get to the beach.. i would say it would be accurate to say you are a 10-12 minute walk by the beach not oceanfront. "This was such a beautiful, clean home. Everything was so well laid out and organized. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking full meals. The out door seating was perfect for having our family over who were also staying in the area. The crab boiler was especially a perk! We boiled shrimp one night and crabs the next. The blackstons was perfect for burgers and hotdogs. We definitely want to come back. The walk to beach was easy. JBs shrimp supplier close by, crabbing jetty’s, Rita’s ice...

"We reserved this stay back in Feb of 24, and after driving for 5 hours, the day we were to check in, someone else was in the cabin. After having to contact the management of the property, the owner finally contacted them and said they had to cancel our reservation we had. Terrible business."
