Fun Home away from Home

The Tropical Getaway - lives up to its name. The property is located close to downtown, restaurants, shops & Publix while being situated in a quiet neighborhood. The house was extremely clean, spacious & childproof safe. Certainly a house we hope will be available when we fly down to visit family in the future.

The house is a great location for shopping and restaurants. You can walk to downtown Jensen beach for restaurants. Great area for biking and the beach is very close. The house was clean and well equipped. The owner Dave was very responsive to all our questions and needs.

Clean, restful, quiet place!

What an amazing place. Everything is so clean. Huge backyard, our dog loved to run, pool was so refreshing, palm trees everywhere, and dense foliage along the fences gives so much privacy. Plenty of TVs, roomy kitchen, air hockey! Our family had a wonderful stay, and so close to many nice restaurants and shopping.

Just Hit the Spot!

What a delightful few days we gals shared! It was the perfect get-away we needed! The house was immaculate -- well furnished, comfortable, and complete. There was nothing we needed to get to complete our stay. And having restaurants near by made cooking (even in that well furnished kitchen) totally unnecessary. But having that coffee pot every morning was a real plus. We'd never stayed in Jensen before so were surprised by the wealth of things to see and do. The house is within two miles of endless possibilities, and the pool in the back yard was a real treat (even though it was too cold to use!). We look forward to our next stay! Give it a try -- you won't be disappointed!

One major issue

The house had many good features except there was a fatal flaw with the house. When we entered, there was a strong smoke smell which took days to remediate. We thought it was a past renter who smoked BUT when we used the oven for a family meal during our stay, the oven literally ignited in flames and the entire house became filled with black smoke. Perhaps worse was that miraculously the smoke alarms in the house did NOT go off. Not only was our meal ruined, but we were nervous sleeping in the house the rest of the stay and it smelled terrible.

We spent 2 weeks in this nice comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect location near downtown. Easy to walk to restaurants and shopping and Ocean Breeze walkway. Crabby's Oyster Bar had jumbo Blue Crabs !

Cozy CBS Cottage

The house was clean and comfortable! We were able to ride bikes over the bridge to Hutchinson Island and walk the dogs downtown to Jan's for an amazing breakfast with water and ice provided for the pooches. Lots of activities nearby and the property offered solitude and tranquility.

We stayed here while attending a memorial service for my sister in Port St. Lucie. There is a nearby Publix, and not far from several excellent beaches. We enjoyed the pool and the lovely secluded back yard. Very quiet neighborhood.

Great Place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The interior was better than expected. The house has been updated. The beds slept well. The backyard is quiet and private. The pool was nice and clean. The home had plenty of linen, towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, pool toys and some extra household supplies. Multiple beaches within short driving distance. We loved Bathtub Beach. It’s nice if you have young children. The home is less than a mile to downtown Jensen. They have Jammin in Jensen on Thursday night with multiple vendors and live music. Jan’s restaurant is awesome for a variety of home style meals and baked goods. We loved the banana nut bread and got two loaves to take home. We would definitely stay again!

Spring Break Getaway

Could walk to downtown Jensen Beach and most restaurants. Neighborhood is very family friendly and the home has everything you could possibly need. Pool is well kept and was very enjoyable. Had a blast playing air hockey and fishing.

We enjoyed our stay with shopping and shops within walking distance to the house. Every Thursday night there is a arts and craft event with music on the main street towards the Indian River Lagoon. Close to beaches, shopping, and activities.

Beautiful, dog friendly property for us (and our 2 cockapoos)

We loved everything about the well-decorated home and sparkling pool. The owner, Dave, was very responsive to our needs. Even though it was the month of May, the pool was warmed enough by the sun that it was 85 degrees. We had some rainy weather the last two weeks, due to an abnormally wet month, (and tropical storm Alberto), but we were able to quickly use the pool when the sun suddenly came out, and we still were able to get a tan. We would highly recommend this property.

The house is very nice and in a quite neighborhood. There were a few small things that needed attention but were easy to take care of ourselves. The pool is not heated so we couldn't use it but was nice to lay out around it. We spent a lot of time on the screened back porch by the pool. Location is great, near everything we needed and for the most part the traffic was not bad in the area.
