"This place was perfect for the 2 adults and 2 children we had for our trip. The kids loved their room with the colorful bedding, books, and cute little hangers for their clothes. The swing in the backyard was a nice surprise!Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond. Bobby was very accommodating with our specific request. We would definitely stay here again."

"I discovered this quiet gem, and it turned out to be a fantastic find. I rented the property for a week and found it to be very clean and well-stocked. The host's information guide was incredibly helpful. The home was well-equipped for an unexpectedly cold week and was conveniently located near several stores, interstate access, grocery shops, fuel stations, and dining options.I would definitely book again!"

2/10 Terrible

"Highly disappointed . Ocean front hotel without chairs and umbrella included $50.00 daily in addition to all charges , chairs and umbrellas beach service close at 4pm , florida summer time sunset is at 8pm most of the ocean front hotel they close at 6 pm at least and they included at least a couple of chairs , beach is dangerous for kids with rip currents and deep waters no lifeguard on duty , small pool for the hotel capacity . Breakfast on property not good . Walking yellow brown bugs in our room and shower area , rooms small and restroom as well small shower . A lot information on the advertisement not true , pillows not good, beds not good and small . On my opinion this hotel doesn’t represent the OPAL great reputation it is unfortunate we love OPAL hotels normally great not this one at Jensen Beach . This hotel made me waste my priceless family time and money on a holiday weekend 4.5 hrs driving back and fore to be in paradise and it was not good at all . We booked for 2 nights we end up leaving after the first one not coming back to this property . Next time I’ll look for better options on the area such as Marriot or Hutchison is better to pay a little more than waste your unique free family time ."

"We had a great time at the Mermaid Cottage! The place was clean, beautiful and comfortable. The pool was great and had a fantastic view of the lagoon. The location is perfect and close enough to downtown Jensen that you can walk to breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had mentioned that my husband and I were coming down for our honeymoon and Trish was sweet enough to have two little bottles of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in the fridge! I highly recommend choosing the Mermaid Cottage for your next vacation in Jensen Beach!"

"We had a great trip to Jensen Beach for the DOA Lures fishing tournament. The house was in a great location and the home was exactly as it was listed. It was great to be able to jump in the pool after a day of fishing in the heat. Perfect home for a fishing getaway!"

"I paid for premium room and got a secondary room and both the rental company and Expedia refused to refund the overcharged room rate. The coffee pot was rusted and barely worked, clearly need to be replaced. The blinds were missing the handles to close them, the light on the refrigerator didn’t work. The right front burner on the stove didn’t work. We brought food with us to cook on the stove and there was no can opener, bare necessity utensils. The pots and pans were old and needed to be replaced. The facility was very nice and the pool was very nice but the room could use some updating. The furniture was extremely uncomfortable."
