"The place is welcoming and makes you feel at home. Amenities are fine, speedy WiFi, warm water. Buy your food in the small pulperias and have a chat with the local people, there is no supermarket in Catarina. I would easily spend a couple of weeks there. "We loved our stay so much here! Everything was clean and safe (and there’s even A/C!). Luis was helpful with everything we needed. The location is great- just a short walk to Playa Gigante and Playa Amarillo. We walked everyday to surf, eat, and swim. El Gigante is seriously a hidden gem in Nicaragua and so is this place. Definitely our favorite place we’ve stayed in Nicaragua!"
