“Cozy little comfortable cabin. Our host Pastor Alan was a very friendly person and he helped us settle in when we arrived. He brought us some tamales while we were there. Caught enough fish to have two great meals. Had a situtation where i had to leave early, and he got with vrbo to refund some of my rental, I will come back and stay here again.”

“We traveled with our 5 & 7 year old boys. They were 3&5 last time we visited and never stopped talking about "Miss DeeDe's cabin"- so we returned. We had so much fun again! This time the boys are bigger and they are better fisherman and we're so excited to catch some pretty bass. Again, "Miss DeeDees hospitality was awesome. Great breakfast a casserole, cinnamon rolls and kolaches! The cabin is so nice, cozy and clean and the boys love the loft beds. We did not see the deer this time but Domino……

“I traveled with my spouse and 2 kids for a 4H competition in the area and came across this gem. The house and property are beautiful as is the art work throughout. Mr. Wilburn was an awesome host. After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. I will definitely be staying again the next time we find ourselves in the area.”

“I fell in love with this cabin 3 years ago. This was my 4th stay. I plan on making this an annual trip every year. I love that as a solo female traveler I feel safe here. The cabin is equipped with everything you need for your stay minus groceries and beverages. Lots of wildlife in the backyard and on the water. I spend most of my time on the wharf(dock, deck, pier) soaking in nature and sound of the water. Rhonda and Dan go above and beyond in making sure that my stay is a comfortable one. I……
