“I enjoyed my time at the Cozy Cabin, it is well appointed glamping for sure. Sara was very helpful and very responsive to questions. Although this time i was on my own for much needed down time, would definitely consider coming back with more people to stay and stay in some of the other options available on the property.”

“What an absolutely beautiful place. My wife and I spent an extended weekend for our anniversary to get away and relax. My wife loves to cook, and this kitchen was so well thought out, it had everything she needed. The only thing to note was that if you are a light sleeper and sleep in the bedroom on the main floor, the heat pump may wake you up when it kicks on. We wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back maybe in the fall or again next winter.”

“You will not regret renting this piece of paradise! My partner and I stayed for a week (July 2023) after a canoe trip in the park - what a fantastic place to rest and reset. Jennifer was a very pleasant and attentive host. The island is quiet and private - the perfect mix of on and off the grid. The cottage is comfortable and cozy but we spent most of our time swimming and paddling from the stunning back deck or lounging around the fire pit, grilling our dinner each evening. “My family really enjoyed our stay at Foxfire Heritage Farm. What a unique way to camp in the comfort of a 2 pod yurt. They had everything that we needed minus a shower. There was lots of firewood for our cold nights but it was only softwood...which had me up every couple hours to restoke. The beds were very comfortable and the power pack was such a convenience to keep our phones charged. We really loved being able to explore the property and visit with all the animals. What an awesome……

“Spectacular & peaceful location. Very well maintained, clean space. The property is very well equipped, especially the kitchen appliances. We were around 12 people & we all had an great time there. We booked this property in July so make sure you are taking mosquito repellent spray with you if you are spending time outside especially in the evening near the water. The host (Wali) was most kind & extremely responsive to call/msgs. We will definitely be recommending it to other people.”

“We were in town to work on a property that we purchased and this house quickly became our home away from home. The house has a modern cottage vibe, the bedrooms are cozy, the beds comfortable and the main living area is large and open. There were plenty of amenities and all appliances and the BBQ worked with no issues. There is also lots of parking, which was especially handy for us with a truck and trailer, a huge backyard on a quiet street. We also enjoyed some excellent meals at a few……

“This cottage is a gem! The cottage is well laid out (inside and out) and offered everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond when needed. The water is lovely and the kids had a great time. You may hear the train a time or two during your stay, but otherwise a very quiet area. Hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.”
