“The manor on front is a beautiful property comprised of two historic houses with ample grounds looking out at the Susquehanna river. Our room was very big with windows all around and an absolutely gorgeous king sleigh bed. The owners were very nice, pleasant to talk to and full of suggestions for restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and took advantage both of what the city of Harrisburg has to offer as well as surrounding nature. Definitely recommended.”

“Charming and comfortable. Can’t comment on staff as there wasn’t anyone here to greet me, but clear instructions were left for me to find upon entering the foyer. In the big city, that would never fly, but this is the country, it’s fine! Would most definitely stay again.”

“The property is a historic home over a hundred years old, the room was pleasant, very clean, with a comfortable bed and linens. Breakfast was good, but only creamer, no milk for coffee. If you are in the area you will not be disappointed at this charming B&B, but book early only four rooms are available.”

“the estate is beautiful. our bathroom was super small with the toliet right over your knees . water pressure in shower was great. the bed super comfy slept like a rock. didn't know it was the 3rd floor. lol Not good for people with bad knees. Breakfast awesome. The people that work there super nice also. great location. ”

It was nice to have a place that was quiet, relaxing, and peaceful at the end of the day so that we could talk or read before bedtime. “So tranquil and quiet. Perfect spot for centering and prepping and then recovering after a full day of off site work responsibilities. Appreciated wait staff guarded alone and quiet time for me to eat alone. Enjoyed the flowers around the property and walking each evening saying hello to the horses and barn cats. “The views we had during our stay at this wonderful cabin were nothing short of MAGNIFICANT! We were blessed with not 1, but 2 snow storms of 8 inches or more each. The snow, sticking on the trees, as we walked through the hiking trails in the woods is something you would see on a winter postcard. Can only be explained as MAGICAL! We wanted to have a secluded vacation with our doggies, and we got way more than we ever expected. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us.”
