“Great house for stormy days at beach”

“Right on the beach. Loved we could walk over and grab happy hour (gluten free clam chowder). Local bakery had a few gluten free options. The kitchen had most of the basics. If you plan on cooking plan accordingly. Would rent again.”

“We stayed three nights for a family gathering. We had our little dog with us. The view was great for us as well as our dog as he stood on her hind legs to watch out the window. Our only negative comment is the bed is full sized and soft. We would like a queen or king bed. We would stay here again. We met the owners in the store they run below the apartment; they are very nice people.”

“This place was amazing. The description was spot on. The view when you walk in takes your breath away. I love the ocean and I was able to see it from my bedroom, the kitchen, living room and deck. It took 3 minutes to w as ok to the beach. It was clean and smelled nice. Ou can walk to a great Hackett and little conscience grocery store. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“Auntie's house was overall a nice place to stay, it was spacious enough for our party of 4, all amenities were in good working condition and everything was relatively clean. The only thing I would say was not up to par was the floor, though it looked clean there was quite a lot of dog hair, stuck to socks and anything that was set on the floor, There was also some human hair on some of the towels. “Had a wonderful stay at this property, very clean and stocked with games, books, snd extra linens. Location was perfect for access to beach and a very short drive into town. Comfortable furniture. Of note: Hot tub was semi-private, but still enjoyable. Also house had many stairs: main living area is on second level, unavoidable and hard for the elderly. Overall would recommend and I would stay here again.”

“We have come to Rockaway Bch. every year for the last 16 yrs. in November. We were excited to be able to get this house for the second time this year. Last year there was more of us, so we knew it was big enough for us this year. We love the big kitchen, lots of room with 6 bedrooms and the game room. Literally a 1 minute walk to the beach, super wide flat beaches for walks. “twas good. to be expected. had to fix hot tub cover brackets so i didnt get blamed for it. hot water adjustments on shower valve need to be adjusted so you can actually take a hot shower. othwr then that...good. location was great”

Nothing exceptional, but it absolutely met our expectations for a small hotel and we loved that it was pet friendly (though there is a 50lb limit that Expedia and the hotel’s information did not state in advance).
