“This is a beautifully designed, constructed, and maintained large log cabin right on Wallowa Lake. Great views of the lake, the East Moraine, and up the lake a peek at the mountains. Plenty of room for a group of friends or a family getaway. Kitchen was well-equipped and supplied with some basic oils and spices. Very clean! Downside is the driveway. “In a rare occurrence, the views were even better than they looked from the listing. Great deck. Spacious, cozy, comfortable home. Well-stocked kitchen, lots of towels. Lots of lights and lamps. Books! Throw blankets, bathrobes. Loved the jetted tub w lake view. Some minor drawbacks: bathroom fireplace had been out of order for almost two weeks but hadn’t been repaired yet, so there was no heat source for the large master bath. But we found a space heater. “Our stay was during the off season for the area, so it was very quiet and peaceful. Extremely short walk into Wallowa State Park, River running behind the property was enjoyable. For someone who loves rivers, mountains and pine trees it is a nice little place to stay.”

“We love the view off the deck. Could sit there all day if Mother Nature cooperates. The house is comfortable and has everything you'd possibly need. Zero complaints. Stayed there two years in a row and it won't be the last time.”

I would encourage the owner to invest in new mattresses. The king size and the first queen bed upstairs are so lumpy and saggy that we all got sore hips and sore backs. “Had a great 3 night stay for my mom’s 72nd birthday and this home did not disappoint! Gorgeous views from every room, very clean, new couch, great beds and plenty of comfortable space for each of us. Decent kitchen with all the essentials you need to cook and eat in…basement had second fridge if you need extra. Too early to spend much time outside, but there were a few chairs for us to sit in the sun and saw lots of nice looking outdoor furniture in storage. House is a good 15-20 min from town,……

“The cabin is a comfy, rustic cabin that lends itself well to adventurers that aren't into sitting around and watching TV. (Which is good... because we never found the Roku remote). The bathroom was small but clean and the bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever been in. I felt like the cleaning fee was pretty ridiculous and a little hidden in the listing. But, overall, it's a sweet little cabin in a SUPER sweet, safe, enjoyable area with fun things to see a do.”
