Black Casita, Joshua Tree

Black Casita of Twins House is a modern desert retreat, situated in a peaceful and quite neighborhood while maintaining the feeling of cool isolation whether indoors or out. The decor is minimalism yet very comfortable, with every amenity and detail kept in mind. Swim laps in the Courtyard pool or relax in the in-ground hot tub. Wake up feeling rested in the king-sized beds. Restaurants, shops, and the National Park are all a short 8-minute drive away.
Black Casita is one of the Twins House, it is about 300ft apart from White Casita. It is a brand new construction home - designed, furnished and decorated with love by its Somewhere Investment & Management. It features open kitchen for gourmet cooking, open layout living and dining area, this casita has 2 bedrooms with two full baths. An infinity pool is in front of the house as well as a 6-people jacuzzi. You will want for nothing during your stay at Twins House.

WILDLIFE:
The desert is wild and if you are very sensitive to insects, mice & bugs - it may not be for you. If you leave a door open, animals ,flys , bugs and more might run in. There are indeed rare sightings of snakes, ants & spiders out here. We love it and so do most of our guests, but just a friendly reminder that we are indeed in the wild. And we are always more than happy to have a creature safely relocated if you find it to be a threat.

Please shower before use.  Please notice us if you need Spa heating at least one day before your arrival. The heating fee is $60 per day.
Please don’t put any liquid/solid soap into it, any extra cost occurring will be charged. The guests will take all liability and responsibility for your own safety. 

—Pool
Anyone under 18 needs his/her parent’s present while swimming or near the pool for safety reasons. No diving and no glass near the pool.. The guests will take full liability and responsibility for your own and your guests safety.

*Please note that the pool service is every Tuesday or Friday.

—Dishes
Please load the dishwasher prior to checking out if you have used any dishes. Be sure to remove excess food into the trash. we will run the dishwasher once you’ve completed your stay.

—Broken Items
We understand that accidents happen, if anything breaks down - even if it's your fault - let us know so we can send someone to fix it or replace it for you and future guests

Please leave the house a neat and tidy condition. Thank you for your consideration.

No pets allowed on bed , furniture in pool ,spa ,pee or left any stains and leave alone in the house . ( any damage will be Claimed ) All waste must be picked up and placed in the garbage cans tied securely in trash bags.

No trash left outside on the property , all trash should be in trash bags please , windy will be blow all over .

Lock all the doors and windows when AC OR HEATING is on .

Any moved furniture please put back when check out .

PLUMBING:
Do not put any feminine products, birth control methods, dental floss, baby wipes, paper towels, or anything besides toilet paper in the toilet.( Any clogged fines 500$)

GLITTER AND CONFETTI ARE NOT ALLOWED AT ANY PROPERTY, INSIDE OR OUTSIDE.
No balloon and water ballon allowed in the pool .

ALWAYS SHOWER OR BATHE BEFORE AND AFTER USING THE HOT TUB! Body oil, makeup, hair products, etc. clog filters!

Good quiet property in Joshua Tree, close to town

We had a good time at Black Casita. Location is great, close to town but not to close and therefore quiet. The rental was clean and neat and we received all the instructions needed from the host to operate the amenities. It got very very windy while we were there, but we were still able to enjoy the amenities.

Beautiful house, very clean. Great aesthetics. We had some confusion turning on the spa and the property managers answered in minutes. Beautiful bedrooms, living room, pool. You can play your Bluetooth throughout the house which is amazing. The only “con” I will give it (which isn’t really a con” is that it’s not as secluded as the photos make it out to be, but it’s still private and this doesn’t take away from the experience whatsoever.

Awesome Location, With Some Issues

Location can’t be beat in regards to access to Joshua Tree NP and surrounding areas. That said, there were some issues. First, the drainage system and set up in both showers made it almost impossible to take full showers. The shower heads sprayed in all directions, so we had to solely use the handheld sprayer. That normally wouldn’t be a big deal, but the drain seemed to be backed up, and within 3-4 minutes water would pool and begin to run out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor. The outdoor area was awesome and relaxing, and we really enjoyed our time in the evenings relaxing in the chairs by the pool and fire pit, but we did have to fish dead mice out of the pool most mornings. Not really sure what the owners could do about that, but felt it was important to mention. It is obvious that time and money was spent in to make the place look nice, and with a few tweaks would be amazing.

Black Casita was perfect for our needs.

We were spending a few days hiking in Joshua Tree and The Black Casita was perfect for our needs. Location to the North and West entrance to the park was exceptional. As was its location to down town JT. The actual location isn't quite as remote as one might think and the house is showing a bit of wear, but nothing that I wouldn't expect from a really nice VRBO. Price was good, and the views thru the kitchen and living room windows of the surrounding mountains were exceptional. We took advantage of the Jacuzzi every night. I will say I was a little disappointed about the upcharge for the Jacuzzi (and pool), but the jacuzzi was worth it. Loved that they had coffee (I forgot to buy at store). Great sound system and WiFi. Super easy to connect via Bluetooth. Only downside - I wish they had more seasonings in the pantry and wish they had a grill (we did'nt see one and we had a few steaks we had hoped to grill). Super easy communicating with property manager who responded within minutes!Overall, I would definitely stay again!! Thx Juliette!!

Perfect Getaway

Nice, modern and sparsely furnished space, fitting for a few days in the high desert. Would have loved to enjoy the pool but heating takes time and $$$. Jacuzzi addl cost though well worth it!

Lovely Stay, but Some Practical Issues

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a pleasant experience. The place was nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. The location was convenient, and we enjoyed the nearby and in-house amenities. However, we did encounter an issue with the water temperature during our stay. Unfortunately, the water wasn’t hot while taking a shower, which was a bit inconvenient. It was hot while washing the dishes and/or brushing your teeth. Additionally, there were no bedside outlets to plug in our devices, which made it a bit challenging to charge our phones and other electronics. Despite these issues, the property was otherwise very nice, it crave us the vibe that we were going for, and we will consider staying here again.
