Red Roof Inn Joshua Tree hotels

"House was roomy and comfortable. Loved the coffee maker.... full pot or Kcups (supplied!). Outside patio was spectacular with the hot tub, sitting pool and water features. Location could not be beat; very convenient to park and towns. Would go back in a heartbeat! Our host, Rose, was super responsive and accommodating and provided very detailed information and instructions. Check-in and out was super easy. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sacred Sands! Very clean, amazing shower, super comfortable bed, and best of all the outdoor tub and stargazing bed. We had limited time to enjoy Joshua Tree National Park so being right down the road from the west entrance couldn't have been more perfect."

"This review is with such mixed emotions. The room was fantastic. The patio with the views of the Joshua Trees was incredible. The room had everything I needed except a typical coffee maker, only a French press included. My issue is check in and billing. You never get a human. It’s all through email or text however cell reception there is terrible. I was stranded for over an hour trying to decide how to get in. I went to the “office” only it’s not the rental office, it belongs to the other wellness businesses there. They seemed aware that check in would be an issue so they have the phone number to call taped to their door. It took me four phone calls to get in and that was after I sent them my ID and CC number. I started to question their legitimacy, but, in time it all worked out. "

"Coffee pot didn't work and there was no coffee. Manager supplied me with a pouch, but coffee pot didn't work. Needed to get extra pillows from manager; only 2 flat pillows supplied with King size bed. Pool was clean but we didn't use it. No gym."

"Way too expensive for what it is. Room not very clean, staff not super friendly/helpful. One example: We were in the pool and noticed that there were no towels in the rack provided. No one had swam today and it was 2PM so would be surprising if they were out for the day, so likely never restocked. We asked them to get some and it took 45 min. The air was cold and my 4yo daughter didn't want to get out out and dry off in the air - I didn't either! When they brought them in they brought them in lazily, chatting the whole time and walking slowly. Nothing was going on at the hotel and it isn't like they washed them in that time, so it was likely just a matter of carrying them from A to B on the premises. The overall trip was like this - great in the pictures, nice enough, but for $400 a night (plus a $20 something a day amenity fee I didn't bargain on!) I'd never go here again."

"We loved our stay at Rancho Rockotillo! The location was absolutely perfect and the check in process was a breeze. Clear direction and communication. Would definitely stay again when visiting Joshua Tree! "

"We couldn’t check in until 330 because of the cleaning lady. There weren’t many games in the game room. The pool is cold. It was not heated. There was no dartboard in the game room and the garbage disposal was broken. The backyard was full of weeds and they were high. It looked better on the website than it did up close and personal."

"Everything about this listing was amazing for a short getaway from the city. I definitely would book this again. Far enough from the main road but close enough to get in and out when needed. Thank you!"
