We loved our stay here and our adventure to Joshua Tree NP. This home is beautifully decorated and appointed and felt like home right away. The location is perfect and we can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Rockview. We were right next to amenities in the town of Joshua Tree and just a few miles from the entrance to the park. The house was perfect as a place to rest and relax after a day of travel or hiking. The backyard tub was a hit!

The backyard is cozy. Loved the outdoor tub. Complementary wine as a welcome gift. Place was very clean. The bedroom near the bathroom the bed if extremely hard other than that we really enjoy our stay.

This was such a perfect getaway. The backyard was our favorite part of the property, with the outdoor bathtub as well as multiple areas to lounge. The owner was very sweet and communicative, and it's so close to the national park (mind you the park is big, so it's still a drive to get to some trails, but we were pretty close) and we were still central to nearby to eat and shop at. Overall, such a great place to stay at!

The house is cozy, organized, and a super pleasant home base. The location is great for easy access to Joshua Tree west entrance (or go down to 29 Palms if crowded). Had a fabulous time hiking early, then returning to nap in the tasteful backyard. Returned for more JTNP, then BBQ carne asada in the backyard. Great kitchen btw. I’m sure to return. Host is on top of her game.

We only had two days to climb in Joshua Tree but wished we had more time to enjoy this lovely house! It was very clean and comfortable with a great location. It was stocked including some “extras” you don’t typically see. The yard was delightful as well. Highly recommend this colorful and charming desert house! We will stay here again!

We had an awesome time at this beautiful house. It felt more spacious than we expected. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for lounging and to give our dog some room to roam! The host was super welcoming and responsive. All of our questions were answered promptly and we felt comfortable knowing she was available. I highly recommend this property for visits to Joshua Tree. The location was perfect and everything you’d be interested in doing is in close proximity.

This was our first trip to Joshua Tree, and we wanted to ensure it was special. Kristin was a phenomenal host, making sure all the details including a Joshua Tree guide of local sites and hikes were available. They are very detailed and responsive. We definitely will stay again.

This property restored my faith in short term rentals (I've gotten so tired of barely furnished, IKEA stocked spaces). This house is nicely furnished, very comfortable, and super clean. The kitchen is completely outfitted and there's a really nice courtyard to hang out in (though it was a bit chilly for our visit). Very close to the National Park and you can even walk to a few restaurants. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Joshua Tree!

Very clean ,comfortable,well stocked accommodations. Conveniently situated to both Joshua Tree town and West entrance to JT National Park. Plenty of guide materials, books and games. The neighborhood was quiet. The owners were very communicative. With any concerns.

This place was not our first choice, but we totally lucked out. It is super cozy, relaxing and it has everything you will need for your visit. I have stayed at many VRBOs all over and this place is one of my favorites! We will be back without a doubt. The location is also great! Close to climbing and local food and cafes. :)

Great place. Clean & well cared for. Lots of amenities. Only 1 flaw. Hot water tank for the outside tub was way too small so the tub was good for wasting water but not actual use.

This house was perfect! The host truly thought of everything. We loved the decor and the backyard desert oasis! The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 sleeper sofas, so our family of 5 slept comfortably. It is in the middle of a nice neighborhood but also felt private. It is a quick drive to JTNP. Since we were there in June, we did sunrise/sunset hikes and happily lounged around at the house during the heat of the day. I didn’t know what a swamp cooler would be like, but it actually worked great and kept the house very cool. We would definitely stay here again!
