Well equipped property with fabulous garden in a good location
The accommodation is very clean and well equipped. The garden is beautiful. In walking distance is the village with boulangerie and the railway station to go to Chartres, Versailles and Paris. The driveway is secure behind locked gates. This accommodation is possibly not suitable for people with mobility issues.

A great place for a visit to Chartres
A beautifully appointed one bed cottage which is very clean and well equipped. Jouy is itself a fabulous village with a great delicatessen and Boulanger. The village is only fifteen minutes from Chartres and the same from Maintenon, which has a fabulous chateau and gardens.

Nice House near Chartres
We had a good time in this nice and comfortable house. The place is sufficient for a family of 4 and located on grounds with a big garden that we could also use. The landlords also live on the grounds and are very friendly and helpful. We can only recommend this gite.

Brilliant stay and location
We had a great week at the property and the only downside is that the photos do not do the property justice!
Located in a typical French village with all the usual amenities, it is a great base for exploring Chartres a few miles away, or hopping on the train from the local station a few minutes walk away, to Paris or Versailles both of which we did during the week.
The hosts are very welcoming but were very unobtrusive during our stay. There is excellent, very secure off street parking, and a large supermarket and petrol station are a short dri from the property.
The interior of the property is extremely well furnished and stocked with all the essentials including a superb kitchen for cooking. The weather was also warm enough during our stay to enjoy the outside amenities of an evening.
Only thing to mention is that one of the beds is a sofa bed in the living room, the main bedroom upstairs on the mezzanine, which may be worth noting for anyone seeking privacy. The property might also present challenges for anyone with mobility issues.
Overall, there is nothing to find fault, a brilliant property presenting a lovely base from which to explore the urban and rural delights of the region.

Traumhaftes Häuschen in schöner Lage
Das kleine Häuschen ist gut gelegen für einen Ausflug in verschiedene hübsche Städtchen in der Umgebung. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr nett empfangen und das Haus ist in einem Top Zustand. Alles frisch renoviert und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Auch der Garten ist sehr schön. Alles was sehr sauber. Aus dem Inserat wird nicht so deutlich, dass der Schlafbereich nicht separat ist, er befindet sich auf der Galerie und ist nach unten offen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!

Petit havre de paix bien situé pour vadrouiller
Le gîte est situé dans le domaine des propriétaires avec accès indépendant et retrait par rapport à leur habitation.
Tout est neuf à l'intérieur avec du mobilier/literie/linges électroménager de très bonne qualité. Il y a une terrasse pour se poser avec des transats et une petite table/chaises pour manger dehors.
La décoration est sobre et chaleureuse.
J'y étais avec mes enfants très jeunes et avec l'espace chambre en mezzanine et le canapé lit du salon très confortable, c'était impeccable.
Le gîte est très bien situé pour visiter Chartres, le Château de Maintenon et le zoo refuge: Idéal pour ce long week end car très peu de route à chaque fois.
