Before this trip, I didn't really know what a Dark Skies community was, but oh, how we enjoyed laying out on the balcony at night, looking at the sky and seeing countless stars, compared to the few visible from home. Close enough to town to visit it at will, and just far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet, and the voices of birds of all kinds. Our golden retriever loved the backyard, as well as hanging out with us, indoors.We loved the entire experience, and appreciated our responsive host."

"Perfect little getaway home! The house is very cozy private and nicely decorated. Bed is comfortable, shower is very nice and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals as well as a great grill. The pool was very refreshing and the sauna was great too. We have been to Julian many times and wow, this home has it all. Robes, slippers spa type shampoo, conditioner. body wash. Dog friendly was a must for us. We feel fortunate to have found this little hidden treasure and would love to return! "
