The new owners are renovating the rooms on the hotel side. The beds were comfortable. Not too hard and not too soft. Same for the pillows. The fridge was probably older than I am but it still worked really well. The only little gripe I have was the painting we had in our room was a little too big. Kept bumping into it to get to the bathroom.

Was such a perfect spot for our weekend get away with our family. Was beautifully tucked away but close enough to the mountain for a day on the slopes. Hot tub was wonderful we will definitely stay here again!

Room was perfect. We stayed in a two room that included a kitchen. It was exactly what we needed. We had forgotten some cooking supplies and the staff was helpful and found what we needed. Great location. We were close to June mountain ski slopes and just a short drive into mammoth.

Suggestion - Since the room can accommodate up to 4 people, it would be nice to have at least 4 of every (basic) kitchen dish (coffee cups, drinking cups, plates, bowls, utensils, etc). Otherwise, very nice, with a homey rustic touch! We have already booked our next stay!

I really wanted to like my stay at Whispering Pines, but unfortunately it fell short in a few important areas. The biggest concern was cleanliness and upkeep—specifically, the bathroom floor was bubbling, which made it feel unsanitary and poorly maintained. It raised some questions about the overall condition of the room. While it technically served as a place to sleep, it wasn’t somewhere you’d feel comfortable spending much time in or truly relaxing. That said, the room amenities themselves seemed like they could be great if the property were better maintained. On a positive note, the outdoor views of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking and easily the highlight of the stay. Overall, this place has a lot of potential, but it really needs attention to cleanliness and maintenance to match the setting.

Room was in need of updates and was pretty run down. I guess we got one of the not yet remodeled rooms, unfortunately. Staff was GREAT! Blake was available to us for our needs such as plugged sink, coffee pot and was a good guy! Look out for dog piles. I can’t believe people don’t pick up after their dogs! I do always!! We stepped in it at night a couples times, no bueno! We would prob stay there again though but request a remodeled room for sure.
