“John was a gracious host. Walk out to an amazing view, fire pit, whales / seals right out front and eagles. Comfy beds, living room furniture could use update but I really loved the place and host! Breakfast was a nice touch! Thank you so much for your hospitality John!!!!”

“Unfortunately, our stay at Grandma’s House in Juneau was far from what we expected, and there were enough issues that I would not recommend this property.The property itself also had several concerns. We were told by the locals the house is in a serious flood zone and floods yearly due to glacier-related flooding including the time we booked it in July/Aug so that was a constant worry. The house is also located on a busy street, and traffic noise was significant. There were visible maintenance……

“Pros:This is a beautiful unique house on lush green property. We saw a black bear trapse through the plants near the house. So cool! The design of the house is incredibly unique. Corey welcomed us to the home with a sweet sign, note, beautiful flowers and chocolate. She was very good to communicate with. Cons:If anyone in your group has mobility issues, this is not the house for them. A few of the stairs were lacking sufficient railing, which did not bother our group, but may be a hazard for……
