"We had a wonderful stay at the Flower Road Villa! There are three bedrooms upstairs with king beds and en suite bathrooms; this is the space with air conditioning. The living areas downstairs are spacious and take advantage of indoor/outdoor continuity. The location was quiet and well situated to get around Colombo. Most impressively the staff was fantastic. "One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. Needless to say a poor management by owner and totally irresponsible behaviour. Please don't waste your money by looking at beautiful pics of the villa. Save your money for better stay. "Worst stay ever - DON'T GO THERE! The place is a mess. So dirty everywhere. On top of a cabin we found a thick layer of dust and a condom package, cables were hanging out of the walls, probably blood on a pillow (so disgusting) and the pool water was so dull that we wouldn't let our kids swim in it. "Room was amazing. Huge. Very attentive staff. Great breakfast and dinner buffets. No beach at the hotel, despite its name, but a beautiful private one with food and drink 15 mins away on a shuttle bus which goes once an hour. Small criticism, the step from the main room into the bathroom was a bit unexpected and potentially hazardous. Also all the glass in the bathroom area was perhaps a bit strange. "
