“There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). Lighting was dim with no bedside or desk light. There were broken loose tiles around the small pool. Service was friendly but less than prompt. Although we had only one of……

“10月1号晚上快12点了才到卢萨卡，按着酒店订单上的酒店地址找了两个小时都没找到该酒店，联系电话也一直打不通，最后找了辆当地的车付钱让司机给我们当向导才找到，入住已经零晨两点半了，前台还一直强调我们订的大床房只能有一个免费早餐，另一个人要付费！！！！酒店外面看着还可以，内部很陈旧，厕所比较脏，厕所垃圾桶里还有两个空的饮料瓶，一看就是上位房客扔的酒店竟然没打扫！！非常不愉快的经历”

“The staff were excellent, the one who stood out was lady at reception Edna. Keep it up. Rooms were ok, a suggestion to add a non slippery mat just outside shower and toilet. Night Receptionist requires customer care training”

“I booked in advance and paid in full. When I arrived there was no record of my booking. So I was turned away having to pay additional taxi fares a search for a new hotel having already paid for this one. I hope at the very least for a full refund. The virtual support was hopeless.”
