"Overall not a bad stay, i got the open air bath room. Certain fixtures in the room were very worn and could use repairing. The bath on the patio was the highlight but it had a large leak from below causing the water to drain out faster than it could fill it. Breakfast was great and they had tatami tables. Overall not bad for the money but could be better"

The management had already found us accommodation 500m away in a nice hotel, the price was the same and they catered for our dietary requirements at very short notice. "It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there. "

"車での旅に最高のロケーションでした。9号線沿いでガソリンスタンドがすぐ隣にあり、車だと空港や駐車場のある飲食店も多い湖山町へは10分前後、鳥取砂丘へは20分ほど、浦富海岸島めぐり遊覧船の乗り場へも25分ほどでアクセスできました。車で1～2分の道の駅はお土産豊富でレストランも良さそう。ここは陸橋からの眺め、白兎神社も楽しめ、今回は時間が足りなくて残念でした。 部屋はきれいで居心地良く、夏は窓の多い西側が暑くなるのでカーテンを閉めていましたが、海側の窓は夕日が沈んで暗くなるまで景色を楽しめました。湿度が高くバスルーム、洗面所や電子レンジのあるエリアは暑かったものの、扉を閉め切ってくつろぐ部屋はエアコン2台に加えて除湿機も使えて快適でした。オーナーさんもやさしい方でしたし、機会があればまたぜひ泊まりたいです。"

"チェックイン時の対応が長過ぎる点で、、、 場所的に長旅で疲れた状況なんで、ダラダラした説明は不快になります。例えば、街の説明はわかり易いしおりがあるから、川沿いの露天風呂以外の説明は必要無かったです。17時にチェックインなのに閉店してるヨーグルト屋さんの紹介をされてもね〜！って感じです。 それと、フロントは清潔感はあるのですが、変な匂いがします。 それと、チェックイン時の部屋の温度、3月前半なのに、エアコンの設定が冷房の22℃！入った瞬間、寒い！ってなりました。そのまま長い説明になり！だったんで、そこも不満に思いました。 温泉などは良かったから、長旅で疲れてるお客様の気持ちになって対応してくれると満足度が高まると思います。"
